It's been a ride. One where they all messed up and two innocent people died in the end. Of course, nobody knows who the killer is, with the exception of Fav and his master. Nevertheless, things seem to feel a lot more solemn and melancholy this week, and Fav's announcement does not help, either.

Monday Afternoon
[After that shocker of an announcement, Zack's been trying to comfort the two pokemon he adopted. Crown's taking the news well enough, like he didn't see a point in getting too attached to the humans.]

[Dragon, on the other hand, is so stricken with grief that he burrowed underground and refuses to come out. People may run into Zack sitting in front of a small hole in the ground, holding a bowl of breakfast fruit he ordered from room service. He's holding a grape over the hole in an attempt to coax the diglett out.]

Come on, little guy... I can take care of ya...

[Sigh.]

Tuesday Morning

[Now that the awkward introductions are out of the way, Zack gets to be a bad influence to a little girl's pokemon. How? By raiding the hospital for actual bandages! It's not exactly ethical, but he's been using ripped up bedsheets for weeks. WEEKS! Surely, there are actual medical supplies here, right?]

Tuesday Afternoon

[Next stop on the investigation trail is the police station. Not the best place for a violent person like Zack, but fuck the police.]

[...Or, not. The police have probably fucked off already. Guess Zack will start looking at the missing children posters.]

[Aiding in his search is Crown the deerling, whom Zack may have bribed with ceasar salad earlier. Crown is sniffing around, not really caring about much unless something would catch his eye.]

Anytime else

[Zack may also be found wandering through town with his scythe (like always), or wanting to order from the resturant, or heckling the kareoke singers. If you're lucky, you may spot him in the park, trying to figure out how the hell pokemon training works.]

[Don't worry, Zack. You get your medical supplies this time. And all the medicine that you'd like, too.]

[FINALLY. Now to hoard as many bandages as he can carry and run...]

[Actually, that can wait. Nobody seems to be around, so Zack's gonna take his time and switch the ripped up bedsheets for some actual bandages. Unfortunately, he forgot to check if the door to the supply closet he's in actually locks, so whoever walks in on Zack shirtless and partly uncovered will learn two things about him.]

[First thing, he actually has darker skin befitting someone of mixed race.]

[Second thing, that skin is at least 75% burn scarring.]

Holy Poop that's an shirtless Zack and wow that's a lot of burn scars and nope she's closing the door.

It takes her a moment to start thinking again and squeak out a small]

Ohmigosh I am so sorry!]

[Did Zack hear the door open?]

[He looks up in time to see it slam back shut. He thought someone spoke, but it was so quiet he couldn't hear a word. Annoying.]

What did you say?!

I am so sorry! I didn't know you were in there!

[That sounds like Recette.]

Then knock next time, damnit!

It's a a supply closet!!! I wasn't expecting anything but like... mops and stuff!

[The doors are against her. What did she do to them?!]

I ain't talking to you through the door! Hang on.

[Give him a few minutes to wrap himself up, ok?]

Okay! I'm still super sorry!

[She'll just awkwardly wait in the hall.]

Tuesday Afternoon

[Kaine's just coming around the corner when he sees a deer and...oh.]

...yeah, I saw those too.

[He's glancing over at the poster, not really sure what else to say about this place.]

[zackthekiller]

Gah!

[Crown glances up to see Zack jump at Kaine's intrusion. After a few minutes of staring Zack clears his throat.]

... You recognize anyone from somewhere other than a movie trailer?

[Crown wanders up to sniff at Kaine.]

[...that sure is a deer...thing. Which Kaine's not sure what the hell he's supposed to do here, does he pet the thing, tell it to back off? Ignore it? He's not really a pet person.]

No, do you?

[He's not gonna bring up the staring. It's...to be expected.]

[Suddenly, his phone pings. It sounds like Recette is in trouble.]

Oh, shit. Hang on, looks like someone got locked in a closet.

[Now to yell at the phone.]

Are you fucking kidding me?!

They had better be...

[Zack transforms, puts his phone away, and dashes off twoard the inns.]

[It all happens so fast that he forgot Crown. Oh well. Crown will just meander over towards Zack's general direction.p

[All right, that happened. Maybe he should go help?

...nah, he'd probably just make things worse, so he'll continue hanging around the police station like the sad sack he is.]

Monday Afternoon

[Oh sorry were you trying to bond with the Pokemon? Recette is running in your direction waving her phone. It's hard to see from here but she has the item shop open.]

Ohmigosh have you checked the item shop yet!!!

[Nice job. You just scared Dragon back into the hole.]

[Crown just stares at Recette in confusion.]

One of Eliza's Pokemon is in the shop. Um here... lemme just...

[ OH! here it is! Recette activates the text-to-speech feature to get it to read out the blurb about Slinky.]

"Slinky the Tepig
Somebody's first Pokemon. They won't be needing it anymore, so why not buy it and head out on your own adventure?"

[Only one person has pokemone here. Um. Had.]

[... HOW DID THAT GET THERE.]

Has anyone bought it yet?

Nope! He's priced at only 150 candy too.

[She frowns slightly.]

The prices in general have dropped from what they usually were the last two weeks.

Is there any way to make sure that pig doesn't get bought before the shop opens for everyone?

Um... I don't think so, but I don't think anyone will protest you getting him.

[It's... more or less an unsaid consensus that Zack inherited the Pokemon as the closet person to Eliza still alive.]

[He did threaten to kill the culprit himself.]
