It's already been seven days, and things don't seem to change much... except for the fact that the task board has been updated. Of course, on Monday, everyone will once again be reminded of a rather hasty announcement at 9 AM in the morning. Of course, Fav won't wake up people who are too sleepy, but the words that the fairy seems to say make things fill up with a higher sense of urgency.

"Wake up, pon! There's a huge announcement that needs to be given, pon! It's very important that you come downstairs, pon."

Oh, hi! I wanted to check to see if this was like the hot spring back home...it doesn't seem like it, though.

Oh, well, or maybe it'll turn out to be a prank to test our do-gooder Magical Girl personalities!

[Tamamo definitely doesn't believe it, despite her cheerful voice. It's something between sarcasm and dejection.]

...On a serious note. There's not much we can do. We are at their mercy.

Buuut! [And she perks up suddenly at the 'but'.] I'm sure they wouldn't put in so much effort to just let us die like fools, so they must have a bigger plan. Just have to make it to the end, that's all!

This is despicable! What are they gaining from doing any of this? Absolutely nothing!

[ at least, that's what she's assuming. for all they know, this could be some sort of sacrifice, a form of entertainment--who knows? ]

Not really. It's the same things as last week. I'm not sure what they expect us to find, though.

[That and he can't get out of that dumb barrier. That would help so much if he could...]

I don't deny it. I also don't want to see what happens if two people tie for the lowest. I've got a bad feeling that both will be 'eliminated'. I'm rather sure we're not playing a game with a merciful 'master'.

[Joshua walks in during the time for men to bathe and.... he should be surprised, but he's not.]

It's time for the men to have this now.

[His voice is calm and his eyes are keeping away from her. He's not flustered, however. If anything, he's being polite.]

[Joshua's just looking around, not really planning on moving or anything, but he's noticed it's a trend and sees the other cleaning. Honestly? He can sympathize. He's a clean freak himself...]

[Once he's out of the way, Edna faces the barrier. Extending her arm out in front of her, towards the barrier in her way, she calls out to the arte-- just like she would have before.]

[The ground before her cracks and several rock peeks form from the ground, at her chosen target-- the barrier. Worth a shot.]

[ You might want to be careful, Edna. Because once those rocks hit the barrier, they're bouncing right on back in your general direction. ]

There is much to be done, though I wouldn't want to trouble you. I'm quite particular about dust.

I probably can't tell you the actual number for the sake of confidentiality... but I've been one since I was very young. Once I met my tutor, I've worked on cases every day.

No, I'm the same, really. A clean place is a much nicer one to live in.

Guess that's out. It won't be easy trying to figure our way out of this one.

Likely there's someone controlling it, or very specific conditions used to put it up. If we want out, my bet is that we're going to have to find the person responsible for putting it up.

That's really the only explanation. There's no real way it would hold up otherwise, unless there was some system or technology that was doing this.

[Yeah, not with Joshua either. Escape may not be an option.]

Honestly, I'm not. I'm perfectly fine with where we've been accommodated. I just though I'd see what's out here.
