It's only been two weeks and you've already lost two of your comrades: Dia Kurosawa and Beyond Birthday. But you have to move forward, otherwise there's no possible way that you'll even get the slightest chance to go back home, or even stop this horrific game. Nevertheless, the same voice from Fav chimes in at 9 AM in the morning, just as always.

"Wake up, pon! There will be another important announcement in the lobby, so it's important that you show up, pon."

[He's a horrible person. An unrepentant sinner. Someone who should be put in prison for the many lives he's taken...]

[And yet, here he is, being embraced by a small, gleeful child. Something inside of him begins to swell, telling him to lunge out at her now, to grab her by the throat and cut her open. To let her blood spill...]

[For once, he resists this urge. It didn't seem very fair to kill someone right after you've given something of hers back. Besides, he saw what happened to Beyond...]

[He'll just stand there, unsure of what to do.]

[Because in universe superhero comics exist in Marvel. Go figure.]

[Taiki nods. He's pretty worried himself, too, even if he's not as familiar with it.] Yeah, it... didn't sound good at all...

The malevolence, though... I'm sorry it plagues you back home. [He folds his arms across his chest.] Yet... The fact that it's here now is making me wonder if they're being as honest about it as they could be. Kyuubey definitely has been more forthcoming today than Fav has over the course of three weeks, but... All of it is still really suspicious.

And human sins... If they're lying about it being different, I'm the fact they're forcing us to kill each seems likely to make it worse.

[In fact, after that conversation with Kyuubey earlier, he's almost sure of it.

This world... It's a death trap for all of them, isn't it?]

[Taiki's smile turns melancholy at the edges.]

It... seems kind of sad that someone wouldn't know about parks like this one. Although like you said, maybe it's just because that's such an important part of peoples' childhoods in my time.

Did... something happen in the future, though? Not that it's a bad thing necessarily, but it seems like there's a lot of focus on keeping children safe.

[ Her words sound determined. ] No. I just got angry and used the tree to vent.

[ Due to the title that Nanami told Zange that she has, Zange... isn't even remotely surprised that she's here. But the loud voice that sounds like it's in complete turmoil, twisting her own heart causes Zange to almost freeze up for a second before she runs towards the direction of the voice and -- oh. ]

Chiaki-chan, are you alright? [ That question has the most obvious of answers and she's asking it regardless. ] Maybe you should step away from the console for the time being... and play something else. Anything else.

Or just do something that's. Not this.

[ Zange is trying her best to be the crowning achievement of calm, although she's not sure if she's the right person for the job, here. ]

If it's this kind of world, where everything is dangerous and I'm responsible only for myself... then it wouldn't be so bad to live a little longer. Just to see and find out.

[ She shrugs and jumps off the swing-set landing in perfect balance. ]

I'll take this as my encore, then. Once this game is over, it's over for me, too.

Mindreaders....? Interesting. In my world, popular opinion has it that while you can turn the whole rest of the body into data and read it like a book, the brain and thus the mind can't be reached.

...oh. Well, I guess it's pretty funny to see Santa fight aliens, since most of the time he just delivers presents.

It is. My world is fairly advanced in bio-technology, but it's only used on animals - fusing birds with airplanes and the likes.

For humans, they're not enhanced at all, ability-wise.

[ She pushes down her uniform collar a little to reveal her med port. ]

The most 'abnormal' thing about me by standards of this time would be this - it's used to inject medical molecules directly into the body.

[ .... this is entirely not the kind of information that Miach expected to receive here. She thought maybe something about age or nothing at all but... oh. Well then. ]

Then it's almost convenient to be here, isn't it? You can learn and train in a time pocket, provided you can get home safely afterwards.

[Eliza is totally unaware of most of this internal struggle, but lets go soon enough to glance over at the Pokemon she just sent out. The Deerling raises an eyebrow.]

Oh...hi there, Crown. It's a long story about what happened and why we're here, but this is Zack! He's a...friend.

[YOU HAVE BECOME FRIENDS WITH ELIZA. ELIZA WILL NOW DIE FOR YOU.]

[Crown blinks a few times, before stepping forward and circling Zack.]

[Hilariously, he's real enough in Kaine's world, Kaine's just never met the guy.]

Yes, in some ways, it is convenient. There are some aspects to this life that are worth appreciating. [Even if they're tainted by murder.] Getting home safely is something else.

[Her eyebrows lift, communicating her doubt over the veracity of Fav's promises.]

I don't care for this place. [It's too loud and bright, in ways that do nothing to mask how threatening it may really be.] I don't think it's necessary for me to stay here.

[Maybe offering to walk Dahlia over is as much a meaning for her to bail on the arcade as it is a generous offer of escort, but who's counting hidden reasons?]

It's easier to talk without so many machine sounds.

[This combined with some of her other conversations this week...They sure are an optimistic bunch, or people who wish they could be optimistic.] That's right. It's frustrating to fail, but more so to be kept from trying.

[She looks impressed upon realizing the tree is just a victim of Zange's frustration.] I didn't expect you to have that kind of temper.

[After all, it is loud and annoying. It's just that she's reluctant to leave at that moment, you see. Dilemmas, dilemmas. But she's also cognizant of the fact that acting weirdly right now is going to seem... well, weird.]

[Amidst the din, there's a "HOLD IT." This time it's a male voice - once that Dahlia recognizes as Phoenix's, and she instinctively looks over her shoulder for a source. A moment later, she turns back to One with a sheepish kind of expression on her face.]

I must be hearing things.
