So fightwise, One has a long range weapon, Kaine doesn't. He's definitely going to take some hits, so he'll be bleeding, but manage to close the gap. And since it's a tried and true maneuver for him, he's going to bury the stinger in her heart.

And of course at some point, One's going to remind Kaine of what they talked about and that it's hard not to hate him. Because it's okay, today's not upsetting enough as it is. Lots of angry ranting on One's part about this. Meanwhile Kaine's just quiet, aside from apologizing when he lands the deathblow.

[Dahlia's going to glance up at Szayel briefly before turning her attention back to One and Kaine.]

...She's probably having a good laugh, yes. Is this outcome what either of you were honestly expecting?

No. I voted for Kaine myself, but I had no expectations of others following suit. It wasn't a vote I was necessarily convinced of.
