Rise and shine, sleepyheads, because today's going to be a doozy. The suspects are revealed and not only that, Fav has unlocked their rooms for today. "We'll start off strong with the room investigations, pon. After that, we'll start off the trial, pon!"

Of course, once they're at the trial, a certain song will be playing on loop. Why.

Um... this is gonna sound kinda mean but... why would Tamamo not kill you too? I mean... it's one less witness. Plus, since Zack tried to kill the both of you, then the real killer could just let him think he succeeded if they killed both you and Chiaki.

Hmph. Unfortunately for you the evidence is on our side. The injuries he made are nowhere to be seen, despite the damage he did to both of our clothes.

And the blood is proof enough that the crime scene was changed.

I think she had been living there for days, at least. I went to her room and it was all covered in dust. And the pillows and blankets were missing from her bed.

Anyway, Tamamo didn't have a blade so she couldn't have recreated the wounds Zack had made. So the evidence was never going to line up.

As for why she didn't kill me... probably just another person she could try to throw under the bus if people didn't fall for the idea that Zack did it.

Games? Sorry, I never played them.

But yes, it's possible some people knew she was capable of it. But how would they know that it was a power of the mirror and not the person itself? If someone has a supposedly super secret special move-- who would think it's just the mirror that does it and not the person themselves?

[Surprisingly it seems that Seraphina does not have a burn book-- at least in her room. And the bathroom is equally as tidy, so you are free to go!]

[Well at least she doesn't have to pick through a pigsty here. So a couple of things: any sign of that book Joshua was apparently reading in his room on Thursday? Anything on his desk, bed, trash worthy of note?]

[There's a few books on his desk that appear to be taken from the middle school. Mainly history texts from the looks of it, and a Sailor Moon Manga. The books have bookmarks in them, indicating that they've been read at one point or another.

The trash? It's fairly empty. Either he doesn't use it, or it's been thrown out recently, but nothing noteworthy in it.]

[Huh. Dahlia didn't take you to be the Sailormoon type, Joshua. She'll raise ann eyebrow at it, but otherwise move on. Anything inside his desk or closet to note?]

[Not especially. There's literally nothing here aside from a few books and this is on his nightstand. It's just a brooch, but it's there.

In other words, his room is eerily clean.]

[She might ask him about that brooch later. But yipes, any sign of cleaning equipment then? Dirty rags, paper towels, laundry? Is his bathroom just as squeaky clean?]

[The bathroom is clean, too. There are signs of it being regularly used, though. There's also the basic cleaning equipment in there, and maybe a dirty rag or two used to dust and clean, but nothing excessive.]

[Huh. Well assuming there's no weird blood colored stains on the rags, she'll leave the bathroom be. So if his room is this tidy, are thee any hints as to how recently his room was cleaned? Any dust, etc?]

By testing it for themselves after stealing the mirror, perhaps.

According to Miss Tamamo, she last saw the mirror on Wednesday evening. Between Wednesday evening and Thursday night when Miss Nanami was killed, there would have been plenty of time to answer that question.

[Nope! No weird bloodstains.

As for how tidy the room is, well, it's been cleaned pretty recently. No signs of dust or anything. It's very clean. Eerily clean. Either Joshua's a clean freak or he's hiding something clean.]

I did, but just sleeping with him doesn't make me any less pure.

[So effectively, the room is suspiciously clean with no trace of anything incriminating to be found if there ever was anything to be found. That's not all that surprising; everyone knows the general drill by now.

Seeing as the brooch is pretty much the only trace of a personality other than the excessive cleanliness, she'll definitely ask Joshua about that when she sees him at the trial in addition to how barely used his room looks. If anything, she'd guess he's hiding things somewhere else or has already disposed of them.


Well. She'll leave the room for now, feeling pretty satisfied she wouldn't find anything in there anyway.]
