☆ WEEK THREE ( TRIAL - DAY TWO )
Trial Day #2
Sunday, Week 3

Victim
Suspects
At around the same time as yesterday - 8 in the morning - all characters will, once again, be brought into the same magical world as the day prior. As always, breakfast and lunch will be served to anybody who asks for it, and any requests from the day prior will be held. "Today is the last day to discuss the murder of Chiaki Nanami, also known as 8bit Wonder, pon! Please make sure to submit your votes in before the time limit if you do not want to get removed from the game!" Access to voting on their magical phones is now available, along with a warning for characters to vote, as is closes at 10 PM.
Naturally, the same song plays today as well. Thanks, Fav.
14 REMAIN
BREAKDOWN
[She's in a fuming rage now, bloodied magical girl outfit be damned.] You would take the word of a killer and a demon over me!?
I'm innocent! I've never hurt a soul in my life! I'm the pure maiden wife, Tamamo-no-Mae!

Emperor Toba even became ill because of you.
[ ZANGE IS 100% HERE TO RIP INTO HER ]

[She knew all this time, then. Zange knew. She wasn't free of her name.]
I didn't kill Emperor Toba! Abe-no-Seimei-- he framed me! And I'm being framed again!
It's not me! I am not a killer!

If you didn't do it... [ Her voice drops cold, even with her smile. ] you'll have to prove it.
1/2
[It's quiet.]
Nanami Chiaki...
[...]
2/2
[And that explains it all, really.]
I brought Nanami back to life, along with Seraphina. It would be way to frame either Seraphina or Zack... or so I thought. But someone still needed to die. No one would believe that Nanami killed her. So I knocked Seraphina out, and when Nanami approached me to thank me...
I beat her to death. She may have screamed or begged, but there was no stopping it. She raised her hands and tried to shield herself, but she was too disoriented to get away. She stood no chance.

[Recette sniffs and clenches her fists biting her lip.]
Most of the evidence points to YOU! I don't want to see you DIE!
[Recette shakily walks over to Tamamo, and does her best to ignore the blood as she attempts to hug her]
Even if I'm mad about Chiaki, even if I don't agree with your methods... everyone's hostages are safe because of you. So... thank you.

Recette...

[She'll look over at him with a sad look.]
If you succeeded in killing Chiaki and Seraphina what were you gonna do?
no subject
I was going for someone else, but I would have accepted my death if I couldn't off myself first.
I wanted to avenge Eliza after the shitshow last week... If there were hostages involved, so be it.
If I'm gonna be a murderous bastard, I may as well be honest and spare everyone the trouble.

That's wrong. She didn't have to kill Chiaki-chan a second time. The first time would have sufficed to keep the hostages safe.

[Look if she hadn't said something, Kaine would've, and it probably would've been a lot more profane. So thanks.]

Throws Recette off.]
Do you think this would calm me down? And make me happy? I don't need your thanks. I need my life. I need to GET OUT! I NEED TO GO HOME!
no subject
[Eruna is going to quickly try to catch and keep Recette from ending up on the floor here, but that doesn't stop her from giving Tamamo a look of... not quite anger, but almost disappointment, perhaps.]
We all wanna go home, Tama-chan! But killing and letting Fav and M-chan win is not the way to do it!!
no subject
She doesn't respond, for a moment. She doesn't smile, nor move an inch. She closes her eyes for a moment.]
As if we can ever escape any other way.

[He's just saying. Also still kind of mad about that betting pool last week, so you know what, fuck you, Tamamo.]

[Is that a...threat...]
I am more intrigued by your motivation to heal them, Tamamo. Had you left things as they were, it would not have been difficult to figure out who the culprit was. Was it simply because he went after Seraphina as well?
no subject
I had originally planned to kill Nanami along with Seraphina. An accomplice of sorts. I would cover up the evidence after Seraphina killed her. To frame Zack. But Zack didn't need much framing.
[..........]
The reward for a perfect murder... it was small, but anything is good enough. If you could get powers back with buying items with candy, I needed them back. That's all there is to it.

Why did you leave Miss Seraphina alive?

Why not just leave them both to die, in that case? No one would have known your intended involvement. Indeed, it would be unfortunate to lose your accomplice, but look at the position you are in now. We could have instead had Zack facing the vote for having the gall to go after me.
[That's the part that he's a little hung up on from all this.]
