It's been almost two weeks without murder. And everything seems to be fine today, in both the inn and the apartments; there's no dents in walls, no blood running up and down the stairs, nothing-- at least, on the inside. However, for those who still stick in the inn? Basically, those whose name isn't Miach, you might find something a little out of place immediately outside the inn...

[The plot thickens. :| Shell take a picture of this before looking at the dent a little more closely. Any traces of gunpowder or blood? And roughly what caliber bullet does that look to be?]

Miach's Room

[Once the corpse-touching session is over, it's time to poke around in the suspects' rooms. Miach technically has two rooms, but Szayel will head for the one she spends the most time in to investigate. So, he goes to her apartment in the apartment complex.

Upon entering, how's the general layout looking since the last time Miach's room was investigated?]

[Hello yes, this is Recette. She'll be taking that paper from Zack and using the fabled skill of literacy to read it]

[ There have been no changes in general furnishing, but there have been more books added since the last time people came here. That and the bed are the only things visible from the opened bedroom door. The hallway itself is completely empty. ]

[No gunpowder or blood. It's hard to tell what caliber bullet because while it's bullet shaped, it doesn't look like an actual bullet was used here.]

There was a toy gun that was being sold in the item shop, but I don't know who purchased it... and I couldn't say if that's the same gun that was used here.

It may be worth looking to see if Miss Eruna was also shot when you check her body more thoroughly.

[ Miach releases a breath in her corner there. ]

If this necessity arises, I'd prefer we did it with a smaller group of onlookers than the whole trial.

[ Like listen, she doesn't even mind being naked in front of people, but stripping for general examination like a display...? Yeah no, thanks. ]

[He'll come further into the room now, checking out the books that Miach has added to the collection, curious to see what subjects she's been most interested in lately.

If there's nothing significant there though, he'll glance around the room for anything immediately noteworthy beyond the entryway.]

[They'll need to go kidnap Taiki to translate or something.]

I bet the notebook is too.

[She'll take a look at it anyway.]

We could go to the laptop and see if Inaba can translate for us. Everyone else is probably busy investigating so...

Tch. I doubt she'd be that helpful right now. We better start looking through the closets and shit.

[Nope, the notebook is written in Latin, if she can recognize that. She'll be able to see the names of everyone in English, however.]

[ There is a lot about anatomy that is presumably nabbed from the hospital. She absolutely has been stealing from doctor's offices. More to the bottom of the pile, history is definitely the most dominant topic. Some books from the middle school are there twice, apparently for ambient reasons...?

There are clothes laid out over a chair now that the clothes store has been opened, but they are not at all outrageous. Normal skirts and shirts, all. On the desk there are a few papers and nothing else. ]

Uhh..... I can't read this. It's not Japanese and there is our names in English, buuuuuut um..... yeaaaah It just looks like scribbles to me.

[Nothing of particular note in the drawers in the bed area.]

[She's writing notes in a dead language. This is bad.]

[The closet is full of a lot of things. There's a bunch of dresses she got from the area, along with boots and heels. If she checks the closet dressers, there's bras and socks and underwear. Pretty normal.]

[This is some good stuff. He considers the possibility that she's researching anatomy for more potential autopsies, which is useful. He'll flip through them to see if any particular subject has been marked or bookmarked before moving on.

He eventually reaches the desk, and by extension the papers. What do we have on them? Are they able to be read?]

[And since Recette is looking in the closet, Zack will check the bathrooms.]

[ There are no marks or bookmarks in any book he might choose to pick up. Miach has been taking great care of these books, if there's any blemish on them it was pre-existent.


The papers are .... sheets for learning Japanese? If he's ever read One's handwriting, he might be able to recognize that. ]
