20 REMAIN...?

It's been a rather rough couple of days. Of course it has, given the fact that Fav made the announcement that he'd be cutting the number down to four, and the fact that killing someone would actually make people get candy a lot faster than normal. But nobody is irrational enough to take Fav up on his rather generous offer, right? After all, it's murder!

Nevertheless, the town seems rather quiet as always and it doesn't seem that anything horrible is going to happen at all in the slightest bit. It's just your normal, ordinary Friday, so feel free to go about it as you wish, whether you sleep in or otherwise.

[Nanami has had similar ideas to Moeka, perhaps, because the last thing she wants to do is go inside the building. She doesn't want to see Dia dead.

But it surprises her that someone else is out here, too. She perks up out of her slump a little when she sees-] ...Moeka-san? You're out here, too?

Did you... go inside yet, or did you only arrive just now?

[mikooon]

[There's a fox girl pointedly yawning and walking towards the building now, as well. Though she hasn't met Nanami yet, she recognizes Moeka (and her... instrumental melody, whatever that was) before giving them both a wave.]

Goooood morning!

[Did she miss the announcement?]

So, I heard the body was in here?

[Nope. She just doesn't care.]

[shining_finger]

[Moeka texts both of them:]

I just got here. I guess the body is in there, but I'm not sure there's any point in me looking at it, or at the crime scene.

[mikooon]

[Tamamo is probably used to her texting by now, so:]

Who knows? Everyone else might've missed something. We should go see what's inside, just peek around, to make sure we can catch the murderer. Isn't that right? [She looks up at the apartment buildings.] Dia was a good cook, after all, and a well-mannered girl. How dreadful that she of all people is the first to fall.

[Tamamo says 'first'. She expects more.]

So: are you coming in with me?

[telecosmetic]

[Eliza joins them, her eyes filling with tears.]

Dia tried so hard to keep us all meeting with each other and sharing information! Why would someone do this to her?

[shining_finger]

[A text, again, to the whole group:]

Maybe someone didn't want us sharing information?

[telecosmetic]

Why would someone not want that? Sharing information is important if we want to figure out what's really going on here!

[mikooon]

That makes sense. Someone who would rather have us all in the dark, and a proactive person like Dia is likely the first on their list.

[Tamamo straightens up.] We must not let them get away with murder! They will be rewarded if we do so! Whoever it is in our midst... or perhaps Fav and his master themselves. Who knows? So, let's look and see what's around in the rooms on the third floor. If the earlier investigators are correct...

[She is there, and died there. So...]

Who knows, perhaps the little time lapse might produce something else entirely.

[telecosmetic]

[Eliza nods.] Right! We have to show this person that we won't break apart just because they took Dia!

[Tamamo marches up bravely to the top floor...!

And it takes a while for her to go into the room with the body. Room 22. Is the room special in any way? Does it have a more usable kitchen or something?]

[ It's pretty much the same as all the other rooms, nothing special. ]

[Moeka is just gonna inspect the hallway really thoroughly before she goes in.]

[Eliza hangs back, staring mostly at the walls of the hallway approaching the room. She...really doesn't want to go in there right now.]

[ The walls are clean! ]

[ Nothing to note here. ]

[Well, now Moeka's out of excuses not to go in, so she enters and glances briefly around.]

[mikooon]

Oh, Heavens.

[That's a body in the bathroom, alright. Yeehaw.

Tamamo decides to look around just a bit more in places previous investigators may have missed: anything in the trash? Flushed down the toilet?]

[telecosmetic]

[Eliza carefully pokes her head in.] Um...is she still in there?

[mikooon]

Very much so.

[She ain't going anywhere soon.]

We should give her a proper burial... but we'll need to investigate first.

[ Nada and zilch. ]

[ As stated in earlier threads, there's not much to see in the apartment - besides the dead body in the bathroom, and the skeletons in the closets which seem to be in every apartment. ]

[telecosmetic]

[Eliza blinks when she notice the skeleton.] Um...hey! Does that skeleton have a bone missing?

[Nanami is used to it as well, so she'll only nod and speak aloud as if Moeka had done the same.] It's alright, Moeka-san. Whether or not you want to go, it's up to you.

[She'll turn to Tamamo after, feeling indecisive. She doesn't want to see anyone dead, but...

It doesn't change the fact that it happened. It doesn't change that Nanami is here, as little as she wants to be.

She can't run away anymore. She owes it to Dia.

And what kind of class representative would Nanami be if she wasn't strong enough when it counts?]

[Well, everyone seems to be going, and even if Moeka would be useless up there, she's pretty useless down here too, so...]
