It's been a rather rough couple of days. Of course it has, given the fact that Fav made the announcement that he'd be cutting the number down to four, and the fact that killing someone would actually make people get candy a lot faster than normal. But nobody is irrational enough to take Fav up on his rather generous offer, right? After all, it's murder!

Nevertheless, the town seems rather quiet as always and it doesn't seem that anything horrible is going to happen at all in the slightest bit. It's just your normal, ordinary Friday, so feel free to go about it as you wish, whether you sleep in or otherwise.

[Zack stared at the prize the machine spat out. A bottle with a rose in it was far from what he needed right now. In a fit of rage, he pounded his fist against the gacha machine.]

Damn it! Why doesn't this dumbass machine give me anything useful for once?!

[He may have slept in a bit, but he did not drag himself all the way here for some stupid flower.]

[ At least there's no dead bodies in the gachapon store, Zack. Or in the prizes, either... for now. ]

7 am | Inn second floor

[Well, getting up means he needs to go out of his own room and get down to the bottom floor. Anything amiss along the way?]

[ Well, good morning, Joshua. There's nothing that seems off on this floor, so you're good to go about your day with no problems. For now. ]

[Recette is just following her usual morning routine of waking up at her room in the Sakura Inn at 8am and after getting ready-and presuming nothing is obviously amiss at the Front Desk-raiding the Corner Store for sweets after she gets ready. Surely there is nothing amiss on this lovely morning.]

[ Recette doesn't find anything unusual at the inn, but on her way to the corner store she will find a dog, who seems to be holding a bone in its mouth.

And is that... blood?! ]

[Since some people have the Inn covered, Eruna's gonna check out the Item Store first thing this morning to see if anything from home or otherwise noteworthy might be worth picking up.

GUYS I JUST FOUND A DOG WITH A BLOODY HUMAN BONE AND I NAMED HIM COPPER AND THEN I ASKED HIM TO SHOW ME WHERE HE GOT IT AND HE LEAD ME TO THE SOUTHERN APARTMENT BUILDINGS AND NOW COPPER'S A COPPER COIN FOR SOME REASON.

Okay, sorry about that, but this is really bad and I'm gonna go investigate now and stuff, but i'll update this more later! Investigation ho!

Dia Kurosawa has been found dead, pon! We will now be giving you a set time to investigate and find out who committed the crime, pon. There will be a trial for two days, starting tomorrow, pon.

[Providing there's nothing but the furniture she left in the hallway stopping her from getting out of third floor of Apartment Complex A, she'll be making a beeline for the room where Dia held her Wednesday meeting in the hotel. It'll take her a bit to get there.]

[Moeka's a bit slow to respond to the body discovery message and all the investigating because she doubts she'll be of any use—what does she know about investigating crimes? Nothing, is what. She has zero applicable skills. But eventually she feels like she should probably at least try and do something, so she starts poking around a bit outside the building.]
