20 REMAIN...?

It's been a rather rough couple of days. Of course it has, given the fact that Fav made the announcement that he'd be cutting the number down to four, and the fact that killing someone would actually make people get candy a lot faster than normal. But nobody is irrational enough to take Fav up on his rather generous offer, right? After all, it's murder!

Nevertheless, the town seems rather quiet as always and it doesn't seem that anything horrible is going to happen at all in the slightest bit. It's just your normal, ordinary Friday, so feel free to go about it as you wish, whether you sleep in or otherwise.

[Taiki will race down the hall the moment he hears the door crash. No one is out in the hall by the time he arrives at the room with its missing door, but Taiki will throw himself inside, gripping the doorframe tight.]

Is everyone okay in here?!

[Wow. Someone's energetic.]

We're fine. The room, less so. Did you find anything?

[He was investigating the body, wasn't he?]

Yeah, it... doesn't look good in here. [He can say, now that he's had a chance to look around. And smell too, since he hasn't been around it much but the scent of blood is heavy in here.] And I... found Dia's body with the others. [Taiki shuts his eyes tight.] She's in the bathroom of one of the rooms, facing the mirror. It looks like someone hit her in the head, because there was blood. It's dried, so it was probably a while ago.

Although... [Taiki opens his eyes, glancing around.] If there's blood in here, maybe this is where things actually happened. There was nothing on the floor of the bathroom. Not even a trace of blood.

[For her somewhat childish looks, Edna doesn't seem very shaken. At least not where the investigation is concerned. But this information is important, since she didn't go see the body herself.]

It's very likely her head hit this wall, unless there's a weapon out there we haven't found yet.

Miss Lemongrass mentioned a "bone"... though I didn't see it to tell if it was large enough to be used as a weapon. Still, the victim herself wasn't missing any, I assume?

[He reminds Edna, but he'll listen to Taiki. Observe him, too. Is this first brush with death? He seems to be struggling through it, but at least he's determined and useful. B looks calm (at least, as calm as you can look when you're crawling around on the floor) in comparison.]

If there was no blood at the original scene, then I'd say it's a 93% chance the actual murder was here. It appears the floor was cleaned somewhat... but no drag marks to speak of.

[Taiki nods.] Miach has the bone that Recette mentioned over the network. Before I left, she mentioned that it seemed likely to be the... the murder weapon.

[Calling it for what it is might be hard, but Taiki keeps his composure, voice steady except for the faintest tremble.]

And that's... odd. Is it possible maybe they carried it in there somehow and just cleaned up any blood that got on the floor?

[He contemplates bringing up the part that finally drove him from the bathroom in the first place; Edna's name was on the phone, even if it was misspelled. He needs to speak with her, but...

They should try to figure out a little more first. He'll bring it up right away afterwards.]

[Recette shoots Taiki a worried look, but he's keeping his composure pretty well so..]

Now that we know that the bone wasn't from... Dia.

[Thank heck.]

I think it has to be the m... the killy weapon, 'cause it had all that blood on it... I dunno why a bone would be used though, 'cause it's like, a really odd thing to use for a weapon. I mean... it's a bone!

[Sure she's sold and made some weird weapons, but they weren't just a plane old bone.!]

In that case, they cleaned up the blood on the floor, but not particularly thoroughly, and they didn't even bother with the blood on the wall. Instead, they locked the room with the screwdriver... perhaps this killer was in a hurry to get out of the apartment. If they expected that would have to be the case, they might have thought a bone would be easier to discard, unnoticed due to their presence in certain tasks.... though it's too early to say.
