At around the same time as yesterday - 8 in the morning - all characters will, once again, be brought into the same magical world as the day prior. As always, breakfast and lunch will be served to anybody who asks for it, and any requests from the day prior will be held. Throughout the trial, music will also be played in the background; it's not loud enough to be overbearing, but it's definitely there to stay. But for those with good ears, you might just recognize one of the voices singing the song. That's not important, though.

"Today is the last day to discuss the murder of Dia Kurosawa, pon! Please make sure to submit your votes in before the time limit if you do not want to get removed from the game!"

Access to voting on their magical phones is now available, along with a warning for characters to vote, as it closes at 8 PM.

ERUNA'S ROOM

Myself and One-chan went into Eruna-chan's room! We found a lot of papers with the raps she was writing along with a hot or not list with everyone on it. There was a dry towel that was draped over the sink, and I believe One-chan found the PSP with the time stamps that prove her alibi along with some stuff that are probably irrelevant to the case.

Don't call me that. [She's going to shoot down that uncomfortably familiar term of endearment before proceeding.]

It's true that the date and time on that thing say it was last used at 7:45 P.M. on Thursday. I'll turn it on if we have to, but it's annoying.

There was some strange clothing, like a costume, these glasses, and some photographs. [She places the neat stack of Eruna's creepshots down in front of her.]

What, do you want me to call you One-san instead?

Even that... [Isn't what she's used to, but that type of reverence would be out of place here, when she hasn't won it.] That'll do.

Ah, I see you found the photos of Seisa-senpai, goddess of Mikagura Academy! Isn't she cute?

[Though, anyone particularly observant might notice that Eruna's smile seems... sad, despite her words here.]

You've been collecting these photos for a while. They're all of her.

Who is this woman to you? [One recognizes that this is an invasion of privacy, and something in her expression betrays that. It doesn't even seem to have anything to do with the case at hand, but there are...frankly, there are so many of them. She's astounded at the thoroughness here.]

Seisa-senpai is just that, my senpai! She's the most beautiful girl in school, the picture of perfection... but she's also a friend and club mate that I like having fun with.

[But then Eruna actually frowns a little at the photos here.]

It's kind of a long story, but these are pictures I found of her in a weird pocket dimension of some kind before I got here? They were taken by a member of the photography club back during her first year before I ever met her.

[There's a pause, before Eruna speaks again, her tone a little more serious than usual.]

But then... things happened with Seisa-senpai and the girl who took these photos and... basically it caused her to be really unhappy for a long time. I think only recently has she started being able to open up to others and smile like this again. She's super cute in these old photos, but... they're also a really painful reminder for someone I care about. So... I don't think it's right to really look at them too much despite that machine having dumped them out a few days ago.

[Hence the reason why Eruna had them hidden under the costume rather than lying out in view.

So if you don't mind, Eruna's gonna take these photos back and pocket them, okay.]

[Maybe they're not Eruna's to have. If they really are so painful... It leaves a sour taste in her mouth, but it can't be helped. It's not her place to make that judgment.]

With everything else that machine produces, it's not surprise that it'd eventually give you something that belongs to you.

[She lets Eruna take them back and pocket them with minimal fuss. If they're ever actually relevant, they all know where they are.] You must miss her.

All the girls got ten out of ten, with some comments written down but I didn't really read all the comments.

Oh wow... [She's not sure if she should be blushing more or less about that.]

EDNA'S ROOM

In Edna's room, there wasn't much that Tamamo and I found. There were some smaller things like markers, paints, and some wood chippings on her worktable. But the most notable things were a drawing of someone and a bag of sweets. Not sure that any of that connects to anything here, though.

BEYOND BIRTHDAY'S ROOM

Since BB-kun moved to the apartments last week, Seraphina-san and I split up to check both his current room and previous one. I didn't find anything in the inn room at all... Seraphina-san can confirm if I'm missing anything about the apartments, but according to what she said and what I saw when I got there, the room was very clean and there were no traces of dust. The trash was filled with a lot of dusty paper towels that were probably from cleaning up and also a lot of... empty jars of jam. [For... some reason...] There were also some gachapon items - origami paper and a ring, if I remember correctly - and a list of names for the skeletons, I think.

... Names? Out of curiosity, what were those names?

[Seraphina sighs and shrugs.]

The adults were Believe and Backyard. And the kids? Backup and Quarter. It's amazing there's one that doesn't start with 'B'.

[THAT'S THE LAST PROBLEM HERE BUT.]

That... certainly is an obsession with the letter B. Although I'm wondering why Quarter?

So I'm more interested in the name Backup.

Do you think it was a literal backup in case of failure? A contingency plan?

Since we're on the subject of his obsession with the letter B, it might be worth revisiting Chiaki's comment about the way Edna's name was misspelled, and how it appears in a mirror.
