☆ WEEK ONE ( TRIAL - DAY TWO )

Trial Day #2
Sunday, Week 1

Victim

Suspects

At around the same time as yesterday - 8 in the morning - all characters will, once again, be brought into the same magical world as the day prior. As always, breakfast and lunch will be served to anybody who asks for it, and any requests from the day prior will be held. Throughout the trial, music will also be played in the background; it's not loud enough to be overbearing, but it's definitely there to stay. But for those with good ears, you might just recognize one of the voices singing the song. That's not important, though.

"Today is the last day to discuss the murder of Dia Kurosawa, pon! Please make sure to submit your votes in before the time limit if you do not want to get removed from the game!"

Access to voting on their magical phones is now available, along with a warning for characters to vote, as it closes at 8 PM.

You'd think the blood pattern would look different between the blood just being splattered on versus the sheet being used to wipe the floor, yes.

Which is it, then...?

Perhaps we should check the sheet against the images of the floor wipes that Fav-san brought out, then?

I think that would be wise. We should do just that.

There is indeed a clear difference between blood spatter and smeared blood. Based on what I investigated, it seemed more like the former. But if you are all so insistent...

[He could be wrong, but... Well. Szayel never thinks he's wrong.

Either way he'll pass it over so they can compare. How does the blood pattern line up with the images?]

[...huh.]

I suppose I stand corrected. [As hard as that is to admit.] With this match, there can obviously be no more doubt that the murder has to have some connection to that room.

I cannot fathom why the culprit would risk this discovery by putting the sheet on Dia's body. While it's true that blood is not easily removed from fabric, let alone white fabric, surely they could have found a better place to hide it.

Maybe it... has something to do with what Tamamo was saying yesterday? About there being some sort of sentimental or symbolic meaning behind it. I can't think of a lot of reasons anyone would take the risk, but if they weren't trying to hide it at all, that might explain the reason they put it on Dia.

I didn't come across anything when I was searching myself, but I'm starting to wonder if there might be something else out there that was used to clean the floor. It seems less likely that it was the sheet tied around Dia, since it was spattered and not smeared.
