☆ WEEK THREE

Magical Girl Raising Project
Monday-Thursday, Week 3

16 REMAIN...?

It's been a ride. One where they all messed up and two innocent people died in the end. Of course, nobody knows who the killer is, with the exception of Fav and his master. Nevertheless, things seem to feel a lot more solemn and melancholy this week, and Fav's announcement does not help, either.

"Come downstairs. I have something to show you all, pon."

This is the mingle for week three, which covers Monday (4/3) to Thursday (4/6). When posting toplevels, please specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations, please notify us in the link given below.

[ Miach doesn't seem stressed either, but given her specific situation that is probably not surprising anymore. ]

Ironic would be if all of us, even the desperate, were relying on someone else to act out of despair... and then none do. I doubt that's how it will go, but what a curious outcome to imagine.

Alternatively, we might well end up with more than one body, of course.

I suppose that would be the best outcome. Which is probably why it won't happen.

[Hope only goes so far right now and doesn't include ideal situations where murders (or no murders) are concerned. On the other hand that worse case scenario doesn't seem terribly impossible.]

If we had trouble figuring out what happened to one, then we'd best hope that we don't end up with more than that.

I'd say that it's a bonus how obvious it was who cares about the motive and who doesn't, but that's also an easy thing for a determined killer to hide behind. They could still be killing for candy only.

[ So no narrowing it down for them there. ]

I doubt trials will get any more harmonic from here on out, with how last time went....

Things might just get uglier from here on out. But if we gave up after just one failure, we wouldn't have much right to complain for our lives.

[Basically, she's not satisfied with their mistake either, but she thinks that if they want to keep living, they can't let that alone stop them.]

I suppose the best thing we can do now is be aware that people may be looking for an opportunity to kill us and try to be prepared on that front.

Yes, the point has been driven home more than ever.

[ Miach wonders if the suspects from last trial are at a higher risk now as well... it's a 1/4th chance of getting revenge for Eliza on the side, after all. ]

But even if we wrote correctly next trial, it seems rather meaningless. The net result is still that someone dies and we can't exactly call it justice without even knowing anything about each other's past crime - baring those arcade games, possibly.

There's only one person here who deserves to die for this and that's M.

Everyone else who has died has been manipulated and played against one another by her. No matter what anyone else does... it all comes back to her intentions of setting up this killing game from the start. No matter who you are... none of this would have happened if it weren't for her.

[So that's where Edna's focus remains laser pointed.]

That might be the one thing we can still unite all our minds on - I doubt any of us wouldn't like to see her kick the bucket.... well, at least be defeated.

[ Somehow some people still cling to 'nobody has to die' and all. ]

Yes. It's good to remember. Different as we all are, our enemy and are goals at least remain the same.

[Putting and end to this game and M, naturally. For Edna, it's "by whatever means necessary". She's not going to defend M. She may just have to die.]

And yet we haven't done a great job of uniting yet.
