☆ WEEK THREE
Magical Girl Raising Project
Monday-Thursday, Week 3

16 REMAIN...?
It's been a ride. One where they all messed up and two innocent people died in the end. Of course, nobody knows who the killer is, with the exception of Fav and his master. Nevertheless, things seem to feel a lot more solemn and melancholy this week, and Fav's announcement does not help, either.
"Come downstairs. I have something to show you all, pon."
- This is the mingle for week three, which covers Monday (4/3) to Thursday (4/6).

It's surreal that only a couple of weeks ago "difficult" meant writing essays for my literature exam. I really can't imagine how anyone could be a superhero without losing their mind after a while with all those life and death choices.
[...She looks down and then adds:]
....Our food must be stone cold by now.

Still edible. That's a plus.
[Look, that's not always the case.]
You know, I can't imagine being a student either. Pete's the bright one, I...I don't think I even know how to write an essay.
[Kaine this isn't something you should tell people.]

[She'll have a bite of her food and smiles. The conversation is going far smoother than anticipated and frankly finds it astonished that Kaine is opening up to her at all, but then again she's not going to question his judgment so long as it benefits her.]
You know more useful things though! Essays aren't too challenging to write once you get the hang of it. I'd offer to teach you, but it doesn't seem to have much practical use here.
[.....that and she'd have to teach Kaine how to write an essay.]

Most of the practical things I know how to do aren't really things you'd want to do though.
[...but they do have a lot of practical use here. Unfortunately.]

[She'll have another bite of food while she contemplates.]
Why do you think people here kill on Thursday nights anyway? Was there a meeting that I missed?
[....she should maybe not attempt to joke about this.]

[He worries about it every time he goes to bed, okay? And not just because he's in murderland, just because that's how his life goes.]
And I've got a theory on that one. Might be wrong, I'm not really a theory guy, but..I think they spend all week thinking about that motive. Are they gonna go for it? Or not? You keep thinking and thinking, and then it gets closer and closer to the end of the week, so there's not a lot of room to decide, so right at the end of the week...they go for it, while they've still got time.
[He thinks about this one for a moment, trying to decide if he wants to add anything, but no, that's about it.]
no subject
I thought it'd be more clean cut for people. They hear what the motive is and decide right then and there whether it's worth it to them and then spend all week deciding how to execute the perfect plan.
[Belatedly, she realizes that actually says way more about her own sensibilities than how most people might function, so she adds.]
But I like your theory better, Mr. Kaine. It really makes everyone seem more human and that makes sense to me.

[He doesn't really have room to talk, his assassinations from his dark 90s days didn't have a lot of planning either, but...still.]
I mean yeah, it seems like it would be the setup for some sort of cold blooded murderer, but most people I've met aren't like that.
[HE COMPLETELY MISSED ANY SORT OF PROBLEM WITH WHAT SHE SAID.]

[She looks somewhat sheepish here.]
I really am just oversimplifying things, aren't I?
