Rise and shine, sleepyheads, because today's going to be a doozy. The suspects are revealed and not only that, Fav has unlocked their rooms for today. "We'll start off strong with the room investigations, pon. After that, we'll start off the trial, pon!"

Of course, once they're at the trial, a certain song will be playing on loop. Why.

[Let's just say Zack's a bit dumb and impulsive, okay?]

I didn't have a watch on me, but it was pretty damn late. what I do remember is Nanami and Seraphina being all cut up as hell. I think Nanami was tied up when I first saw her, but my blade made short work of it.

[Back him up, Sera?]

Nanami and I met shortly before 11:30 that night. Zack arrived just a short minute after. He followed her to our meeting after all.

[Whic is all fine and dandy, but....]

You never mentioned Miss Nanami being tied up, Miss Seraphina.

[She'll raise an eyebrow at Zack about this one too.]

That's because she wasn't. As the logs suggest I called her there of her own free will. But it was dark-- I hadn't turned the light on in the room yet when he got there. So he probably just couldn't see well. Makes sense, seeing as he mistook her for Szayelapporo.

I was investigating something regarding the Dollhouse and our hostages. It seemed strange that there were-- that I could find-- no dolls of the people who were taken. Yet both the dolls and the hostages were dressed up similarly. But then I thought I saw one that looked similar to Nanami's hostage-- but I hadn't looked very closely. So I wanted her to confirm that.

[hawthorned]

[That eyebrow is remaining raised.]

Very well, Miss Seraphina.

[A beat.] Zack, what's your side df the story? If it truly was dark and you couldn't see anything, what made you think Miss Nanami had been tied up?

[zackthekiller]

[Zack glanced at Sera, expecting her to help. You're supposed to be helping, nitwit!]

When you've been working with a certian weapon long enough, you can tell when it's cutting through flesh or rope.

Then again, I might have been imagining the tied up bit.

[hawthorned]

[Ok, she doesn't like the way Seraphina is talking over Zack and correcting his story. While she definitely buys Zack having a bad memory, it's still worth hearing his side before anyone can correct it for him on the spot.]

Zack, do you mind if we talked separately from Miss Seraphina?

[Turning to Seraphina:] If you don't mind. [...Not that the woman really has a choice given her situation, but have the fake courtesy anyway.]

[Zack doesn't hesitate to awnser.]

Fine by me. I'm an open book.

[Well good, she'll just lead Zack away from Sera so that they're out of earshot of her.]

Was it truly dark when you found Miss Nanami and Miss Seraphina in the dollhouse, Zack?

Yep.

[He isn't thinking about his awnser, and he doesn't sound like he's making this up.]

I could only make out someone with pink hair going into the dollhouse from a distance, so I followed her in.

And the inside of the dollhouse was definitely dark as well?

[zackthekiller]

Pretty damn dark.

Why?

Mm, it's a little inconsistent. According to Miss Seraphina, she invited Miss Nanami to the dollhouse to show her a specific doll. If that was truly the intention, it's a little strange that the interior of the dollhouse was so dark, don't you think?

[zackthekiller]

[Yeah, it was. But she's missing the point.]

Look, all I know is this. I came, I saw a pink haired person with Seraphina, I slashed both of em up before running off.

Might have stabbed a few dolls in the process. I wasn't paying attention.

I believe you did those things, Zack.

[...If only because she doesn't think he'd come up with a lie this convoluted and be able to stick to it.]

But what if the reason the lights were turned off was because Miss Seraphina didn't want anyone to know she had the mirror there?

[Zack didn't think about that too hard. But he mulls over the matter and explains.]

Did you see a light switch in that place? I didn't see one when I was just wandering through the dollhouse on Wednesday, when I could actually see all the creepy ass dolls in there.

[He doesn't think he missed it, if there was one.]

[She'll just raise an eyebrow at this.]

The light switches were by the door, Zack.

[Zack looked genuinely surprised. Someone failed a spot check.]
