☆ WEEK THREE ( TRIAL - DAY TWO )

Trial Day #2
Sunday, Week 3

Victim

Suspects

At around the same time as yesterday - 8 in the morning - all characters will, once again, be brought into the same magical world as the day prior. As always, breakfast and lunch will be served to anybody who asks for it, and any requests from the day prior will be held. "Today is the last day to discuss the murder of Chiaki Nanami, also known as 8bit Wonder, pon! Please make sure to submit your votes in before the time limit if you do not want to get removed from the game!" Access to voting on their magical phones is now available, along with a warning for characters to vote, as is closes at 10 PM.

Naturally, the same song plays today as well. Thanks, Fav.

... Wait a second, wasn't Nanami-chan also stabbed in the chest? Did that happen first, and then she was hit in the face with the mirror? ... Do we even know if she was still alive when they used the mirror like that?

[because if so then Jesus dude what was the point of doing that]

ignore my first comment, important clarifications were made for this one

The chest stab has to have come first because it's completely gone now.

It is peculiar that it's listed as a cause of death when it was healed though. Maybe it wasn't healed all the way through to her insides?

What about this, then: Chiaki-chan was actually killed twice. The autopsy counts the stab to the chest as the first kill before she was brought back and killed again.

But then... If that's the case, would we have to vote for two people since she was killed twice somehow?

Best thing to do is ask, then. [And none other than Taiki's least favorite person in the world.] Fav, do we need to vote for more than one person in this trial?
yourdreamismydream: <user name=Yamadori> (yeah...)

[personal profile] yourdreamismydream 2017-04-09 11:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[He'll offer no thanks, but only an acknowledging nod.]

In that case... I'm not sure there's much more to figure out about Zack's involvement. He was pretty forthcoming yesterday about his role in killing Nanami first, so I'm not sure there's much more to follow in that vein. Unless it's all an elaborate lie, which I doubt, there's not much more for him to hide if he'd come out and say all of that in the first place.

So there might be some significance to the first murder still, but the second murder is what we need to focus on.

So, does that mean we can discard Zack from the suspect list? Since we only need the second killer.
yourdreamismydream: <user name=Yamadori> (shoutmon?)

[personal profile] yourdreamismydream 2017-04-10 12:45 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, for this trial he's safe. He might not be innocent when it comes to attacking Nanami, accident or no, but... He isn't the one that killed her a second time. I think we can rule out pretty much everyone besides Tamamo or Joshua.
yourdreamismydream: <user name=Yamadori> (we don't have time to celebrate now.)

[personal profile] yourdreamismydream 2017-04-09 10:07 pm (UTC)(link)
So the stab wound that was originally inflicted was healed, but... What would the point of that even be? Was the person who healed Nanami someone different entirely from the person who killed her?

[personal profile] shining_finger 2017-04-09 10:27 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, wow, you're right--I had been assuming it was because the killer didn't want Zack to get the credit, but that doesn't matter for this week's motive, does it? So why bother healing her at all?

Unless... maybe it was an accident when they were trying to heal Seraphina instead? Or some kind of unintended side effect of healing Seraphina?
yourdreamismydream: <user name=Yamadori> (if we assign that super power)

[personal profile] yourdreamismydream 2017-04-09 10:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Those are all good possibilities. I guess it just depends on how the mirror operates? Unless I didn't catch it, I don't think the way it works was brought up at all... Just that it has the capability to heal, but not how it functions, right? Although if it's possible to heal the wrong person, that might be a reason was Nanami was healed at all if Seraphina was the intended target.

I don't know how the mirror works either. There was a fan club magazine in Tamamo's room that mentioned its abilities, but it didn't say how it was used. I guess we'd have to ask Tamamo.

It was said it only works once, but we have two healed people at hand. Maybe two people healed in one go still counts as once?

I believe that is most likely the case, too.
