4 REMAIN

Four people left. There are finally four people left. It's the magic number that Fav gave to everyone to end the game. But the game is still going, as the final four awaken from their slumber in Town A. It's quiet, absurdly so. At least... at first.

"Four people remain," the voice comes out of the intercom, the voice of the one everyone knows as M at around 10 in the morning. "In regards to the killer, I have found them and captured them. They will not be killing anybody any longer. Now that there are four of you, I shall test you, for the final investigation and trial, to see if you are worthy of leaving. You will have to retake the trial you failed and continue with a trial to figure out the killer of those seven people and the truth of this place. The locations ahead of you have been opened, and I will not give you any false clues. You have until Saturday. You may also find new clues around the town as well if you look. Good luck."

And just as she's said, if anybody looks outside and goes far north, they'll find the impurity gone - not just there, but almost everywhere - replaced with brand new locations, just like most weeks prior.

If you go home with one of us probably! Seraphina's a demon so she probably can bring you back to her world once this is all over or something. I'm sure you'll find a ton of negative emotions in her world.

[Recette knows that where Griff and all the other demons in her world are from isn't in the best state right now, so if Seraphina's world is anything like it, he'll find a ton there.]

And if that doesn't work out, I'm sure someone else's world has an ton of negative emotions and stuff!

Finally found it in one of those books from the other fictional worlds. It was difficult to find, since a lot of these things didn't work with my abilities. But it's something that will at least appease those guys, I hope.

If everything fails: use Ozuma.]

[While Miach is doing that, Recette'll take an look under the bed. Edna found that staff thing under the bed in the room she opened in like week 3, so maybe there is an staff or something under there too!]

[There are many, many books on revival but more importantly the one on the top reads Necromancy for Dummies. It's the one that talks about the key ritual.]

[It's been-- unfortunate-- reminding herself that she's technically "human" right now. Still. Tengu... At least that's something she can understand, despite the look being different than she expected. Does he have a tail, he should have a cute tail.]

I didn't know tengu lived in coffins. Intriguing.

[The ritual talks about placing the keys along the leylines and then using their spiritual energy to connect to the afterlife utilizing a prayer. The prayer seems to be written in Japanese and sounds like something you'd see in a shinto prayer to the gods.]

At least if M is at all to be trusted about 'no false clues' then it is the book. It is silly though.

I doubt it. If you take a look at their notes, this is where they discovered the ritual themselves. They're the dummy, if anyone.

There's more books on revival but they don't seem to have the ritual we need. And then other than the notes, nothing.

At this point there is not much we can do but share our info with the rest.

[ Before leaving, Miach turns back again to look over the paper carefully in terms of handwriting. She's seen the handwriting of most people in the game who had their written documents found in room searches, do any of those match? ]

The lack of interest we all have into each other is laughable, isn't it? There is something astoundingly genuine in how willing we are to be ignorant of each other's very nature. Of course, that's normal. Nobody can simply care about another for the soul reason that they exist.

None of you have looked at the profiles lately, have you? Too bad.

We might have liked to find out a little sooner that Zange seems to be fond of a certain Hakua.

Hakua may have a grave in the graveyard, but we know she's not dead. She was alive at the start of this, she is alive with us. Her grave is a farce and there is no record of her death.

So then, is there anything else we might want to know about this?
