Welcome to the Magical World of Dreams and Magic! No matter where you are or if you're from a world with technology or otherwise, you've managed to find yourself holding a cell phone with the Magical Girl Raising Project preinstalled - a game with a rather deceiving title - with no way to actually uninstall it. Whether you're doing this voluntarily or tapped the screen by accident due to not knowing much about technology, eventually a magical fairy appears out of the blue from your phone and finally opts to speak.

"My name is Fav, and you have been chosen, pon!" For what, exactly? He soon explains that you, too, can become a real magical girl or magical boy and obtain power and help others. "If you really want to become one, just press the button here, pon. It's that simple, pon."

There's just something about Fav's voice that's so compelling, and you're promised many good things to come if you just tap that screen... but if you wait too long, you'll find your body moving on its own to do the action, as if possessed.

Once that's all said and done, you will find yourself blacking out and the next time you open your eyes... there's a very unfamiliar ceiling in a very unfamiliar bed. The place you've woken up in is a rather lavish hotel room; modern, yet has a somewhat old-fashioned feeling to it. It's rather nice, at least in comparison to the view outside.

Welcome to Town A, your almost stereotypical dystopian city in your almost stereotypical world. If not for the fact that you can't really leave, due to the barriers that encase the edges of the town.

As of right now, the clocks read 9 AM in the morning - it's time to rise and shine, sleepyheads! And as if that wasn't enough, the voice of Fav will remind you of such to meet up in the downstairs area for a very special announcement, although he won't force people to meet with him, as it's definitely not an obligation. You could always avoid the announcement. But do you honestly think that's a good idea, given that you're in a whole different world?

[Taiki's eyes widen in surprise at how similar the names are, but... It can't be, can it...?] To be honest, I would've asked you if a Pokemon is like a Digimon... But that's probably just getting my hopes up.

[Normally Taiki would try to keep info hidden about Digimon so they wouldn't be alarmed, but this situation is weird enough that he doesn't bother with it. Besides, if she knows anything about Shoutmon...] But in case Pokemon are different, Digimon are digital creatures that can take a lot of different forms. There's all kinds... From animals to machines, to even ones that look like humans.

[Eliza tilts her head to the side.] Digital...I'm pretty sure Porygon and its evolutions are the only digital Pokemon. Although there are Pokemon that look like animals and machines, but I don't think there are really any who look like humans? Um, well, some of them walk on two legs and have two arms, but you wouldn't really mistake them for humans.

Do Digimon have special elemental powers? Pokemon can have power over all sorts of Types, like Fire, Water, Grass, Ground...

Ah... [Well... That's unfortunate, but there's no helping it.] Pokemon must be something different, then. All Digimon are digital, regardless of what other forms they're in.

There are definitely some that have elemental powers, though. They don't exactly have "types" like that when it comes to their elements, or at least nothing like the "Grass" one. But some of them are definitely able to use attacks that utilize things like fire and water. Some of them don't use elemental powers at all, though, and use things like their fists or weapons. Digimon have a lot of different forms, so... The only limit is your imagination, really.

Well, maybe Porygon are some kind of connection between Digimon and Pokemon! If I find one here I'll be sure to show you! [Wild Pokemon are a thing, right?]

Oh, fists? There are Pokemon that do that too! We call them Fighting-types, or sometimes Normal-types if they use stuff like claws or just ramming into people.

Yeah, there's a lot of Pokemon too. I think there's over 600 different species!

That's... [The smile in his face becomes broader, some of the sadness slipping away.] I never considered that. You definitely might be right... If you find Porygon, I'd love to see them!

There really are a lot of different types of Pokemon, huh... I wonder if there are that many Digimon, too... [Taiki chuckles sheepishly.] Back then, things were kind of busy, so I didn't really have time to count them, sadly. There's a lot, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if there were.

Well, I only know there's so many Pokemon because I learned it in school. And researchers are discovering new species all the time too!
