Welcome to the Magical World of Dreams and Magic! No matter where you are or if you're from a world with technology or otherwise, you've managed to find yourself holding a cell phone with the Magical Girl Raising Project preinstalled - a game with a rather deceiving title - with no way to actually uninstall it. Whether you're doing this voluntarily or tapped the screen by accident due to not knowing much about technology, eventually a magical fairy appears out of the blue from your phone and finally opts to speak.

"My name is Fav, and you have been chosen, pon!" For what, exactly? He soon explains that you, too, can become a real magical girl or magical boy and obtain power and help others. "If you really want to become one, just press the button here, pon. It's that simple, pon."

There's just something about Fav's voice that's so compelling, and you're promised many good things to come if you just tap that screen... but if you wait too long, you'll find your body moving on its own to do the action, as if possessed.

Once that's all said and done, you will find yourself blacking out and the next time you open your eyes... there's a very unfamiliar ceiling in a very unfamiliar bed. The place you've woken up in is a rather lavish hotel room; modern, yet has a somewhat old-fashioned feeling to it. It's rather nice, at least in comparison to the view outside.

Welcome to Town A, your almost stereotypical dystopian city in your almost stereotypical world. If not for the fact that you can't really leave, due to the barriers that encase the edges of the town.

As of right now, the clocks read 9 AM in the morning - it's time to rise and shine, sleepyheads! And as if that wasn't enough, the voice of Fav will remind you of such to meet up in the downstairs area for a very special announcement, although he won't force people to meet with him, as it's definitely not an obligation. You could always avoid the announcement. But do you honestly think that's a good idea, given that you're in a whole different world?

Hm, I see you are very dedicated to gender roles. But magical girls are an immaculate force of good, whose magic exists to purify rather than destroy... to be a magical girl is simply to embody the most treasured ideals of humanity. Friendship and love. It's really a shame that some people can only think about sex.

My world? What I just described is purely fictional. For the record, most people enjoy works of fiction. At least 82%.

[His head tilts at an extreme angle. It's disturbing, almost as though he didn't have any bones in his neck.]

Maybe reality doesn't want me after all. ... But by that token, it doesn't want you either, because we both ended up here.

[His eyes look empty as he says this. There's no offense, just... a truth.]

[Empty eyes. He knows the sight well. For just a moment of that eye contact, it looks like he's considering taking him seriously. His neck straightens back - for a certain degree of straight while he's still standing in a hunched posture. A finger brushes slightly against his lower lip.]

... A melodramatic statement that you have no intention of illuminating further on. You're good at this.

[Well, it seems after a fair bit of banter insulting each other they've... reached a weird place of understanding. It's been so long since Joshua's actually interacted with others normally that it's difficult...

He makes no comment on that first part.]

[Making no comment is fine, because it means he was right. And B most likely doesn't believe in interacting with others normally to begin with.

But wow, that's annoying. Way to remind him again that he can't see what that cut-off last name really is anymore. Though whether that's merely a side effect of magical girls not being human or B's second sight is truly gone will remain to be seen. But he's probably being hypocritical since he gave a fake name in the first place, and he controls his face well enough that it doesn't really show.]

Joshua... I suppose first name basis is acceptable.

[Don't think he didn't hear you. Though he doesn't know why he would care about his last name getting out anyway... strange.]

[It's not that calling him by his first name is personal or not, it's that he's in the middle of an identity issue right now. So he shrugs.]
