Welcome to the Magical World of Dreams and Magic! No matter where you are or if you're from a world with technology or otherwise, you've managed to find yourself holding a cell phone with the Magical Girl Raising Project preinstalled - a game with a rather deceiving title - with no way to actually uninstall it. Whether you're doing this voluntarily or tapped the screen by accident due to not knowing much about technology, eventually a magical fairy appears out of the blue from your phone and finally opts to speak.

"My name is Fav, and you have been chosen, pon!" For what, exactly? He soon explains that you, too, can become a real magical girl or magical boy and obtain power and help others. "If you really want to become one, just press the button here, pon. It's that simple, pon."

There's just something about Fav's voice that's so compelling, and you're promised many good things to come if you just tap that screen... but if you wait too long, you'll find your body moving on its own to do the action, as if possessed.

Once that's all said and done, you will find yourself blacking out and the next time you open your eyes... there's a very unfamiliar ceiling in a very unfamiliar bed. The place you've woken up in is a rather lavish hotel room; modern, yet has a somewhat old-fashioned feeling to it. It's rather nice, at least in comparison to the view outside.

Welcome to Town A, your almost stereotypical dystopian city in your almost stereotypical world. If not for the fact that you can't really leave, due to the barriers that encase the edges of the town.

As of right now, the clocks read 9 AM in the morning - it's time to rise and shine, sleepyheads! And as if that wasn't enough, the voice of Fav will remind you of such to meet up in the downstairs area for a very special announcement, although he won't force people to meet with him, as it's definitely not an obligation. You could always avoid the announcement. But do you honestly think that's a good idea, given that you're in a whole different world?

[Zack still can't read, but the blurry picture catches his eye. He picks up the newspaper, examining the photo, trying to make out what that figure is supposed to be...]

[When a cheerful voice comes from behind.]

Gah!

[He quickly turns to face the other magical girl, his temporarily feminine hands gripping the paper tighter as if to keep him from running away.]

... Whadya want?

[Eruna is not in her transformed appearance yet, but Zack might still recognize her as "Lady Zapper", save for her hair and her scarf being orange and yellow respectively now instead of being pink.

You were on the network yesterday, weren't you? What was your name again? "Reaper-chan?"

[Or at least she could have sworn that was the name that went with the avatar.]

[Well, the avatar looks the same as the form he's using, so...]

Just Reaper. Were you that one girl who claimed to be in High School?

[Because she's extremely recognizable when her magical form is a color swap of what she really looks like.]

[He hands her the newspaper.] Read this.

[Eruna takes the newspaper, blinking at the odd request before she reads it aloud.]

“Mysterious White Figure Does it Again!” ... Oh, it's probably talking about this person in the picture right here?

[Indicating the blurry image that went along with the headline.]

Guess so. What's the article about?

[He's kind of asking you to read it to him in a roundabout way.]

[ The article talks about how a mysterious figure in white seems to be helping the townspeople who are in need. They're dubbed an "ally of justice" and they seem to be unable to get a clear photo of the person or remember all the details of what they look like from interviews.

What's clear, however, is the fact that they all seemed to be in some sort of trouble, big or small, when the figure showed up. ]

It says it's about an "ally of justice" that helps townspeople in need here... [And then, an idea occurs to her.] Maybe they're another magical girl like the rest of us?

[But then, where is this person? They didn't make an appearance yesterday with everyone else that showed up...]

[Weird... He glances over her shoulder as if he didn't need her to read to him.]

Yeah... I'm pretty sure that's an old newspaper, and that Magical Girl's long dead.

[He glances about, looking at the rest of the apartment.] Either that, or they did a pretty shitty job of protecting people.

Reaper-chan, don't say things like that! That's way too sad to consider... especially when they could have been a really cute girl!

[Great, this girl's a horny lesbian or something.]

Cute or not, I doubt we're going to be seeing her around any time soon...

Speaking of death, you wanna help me look for bones?

Bones? Why--oh, wait, is this one of the tasks that was mentioned on the phone?

[Which means... there could be a reward for doing this.

Then again, even if there wasn't, hanging out with a boy that's currently a magical girl is also an entertaining enough option for it.]

Yeah, okay, I'll help you look! Where do you think we should start?

[Zack nods. He was just exploring, but he's also doing a task on the side. Two birds with one stone.]

Well, I was already looking around here... But if there isn't anything I missed we can go back through the lobby to the next room.

[He turned around, wondering if there was anything else in this trashed master bedroom he could find. Now that's he's made it clear he was searching for bones, he decided to keep a closer eye out for those.]

[ There are definitely no skeletons -- or more specifically any kind of bones at an immediate glance through the master bedroom without touching anything. The master bedroom consists of one large bed, a closet (which seems to be closed at the moment), a dresser, and an empty bookcase.

Is there anywhere in particular you guys want to search, here? ]

[Eruna is gonna take note of that closet, pointing to it now to get Zack's attention.]

Did you check in there?

Huh?

[Well, there is a closet. He doesn't care for invoking the old saying, but he goes over and opens it up anyway.]

[ The closet is not locked, but when he opens it... surprise! There are indeed real live skeletons in the closet. Two of them, in fact. One male, and one female. Both adults. ]

[Okay, Zack can't help but snicker at that.]

FOUND SOME!

Oh my god, there are actual skeletons in the closet!

[are we suddenly living a goosebumps novel now what the fuck]

[Zack's just laughing his head off as he pulls the skeletons out, holding them up for a moment before placing the two of them on the bed for now.]

Yep! Looks like a couple of skeletons hiding in the closet. Wonder what the hell they were hiding from?

I don't know... whatever it was, it must have been pretty scary.

[... Or maybe they got murdered and someone just dumped the bodies in the closet where they rotted away... actually, let's not think about that.]

So I assume these must be the bones that the task was talking about?

I guess so! Now to find something that would fit a couple of corpses and get them outta here.
