Welcome to the Magical World of Dreams and Magic! No matter where you are or if you're from a world with technology or otherwise, you've managed to find yourself holding a cell phone with the Magical Girl Raising Project preinstalled - a game with a rather deceiving title - with no way to actually uninstall it. Whether you're doing this voluntarily or tapped the screen by accident due to not knowing much about technology, eventually a magical fairy appears out of the blue from your phone and finally opts to speak.

"My name is Fav, and you have been chosen, pon!" For what, exactly? He soon explains that you, too, can become a real magical girl or magical boy and obtain power and help others. "If you really want to become one, just press the button here, pon. It's that simple, pon."

There's just something about Fav's voice that's so compelling, and you're promised many good things to come if you just tap that screen... but if you wait too long, you'll find your body moving on its own to do the action, as if possessed.

Once that's all said and done, you will find yourself blacking out and the next time you open your eyes... there's a very unfamiliar ceiling in a very unfamiliar bed. The place you've woken up in is a rather lavish hotel room; modern, yet has a somewhat old-fashioned feeling to it. It's rather nice, at least in comparison to the view outside.

Welcome to Town A, your almost stereotypical dystopian city in your almost stereotypical world. If not for the fact that you can't really leave, due to the barriers that encase the edges of the town.

As of right now, the clocks read 9 AM in the morning - it's time to rise and shine, sleepyheads! And as if that wasn't enough, the voice of Fav will remind you of such to meet up in the downstairs area for a very special announcement, although he won't force people to meet with him, as it's definitely not an obligation. You could always avoid the announcement. But do you honestly think that's a good idea, given that you're in a whole different world?

[Oddly enough, there's no sign of the NPC on the way. But in an alley just to the side of the fast food restaurant, faint laughter can be heard.]

[Cathy is that you I mean, wow. This sounds like the kind of person you usually don't see around burger joints.]

[Really, Zack wasn't expecting to find anyone at all, so hearing this person is a shock. He steps in front of Zange, just in case this turns into a fight.]

Yeah... What she said.

[From inside the alley is a figure cloaked in a robe covered in arcane symbols. Or well, they look arcane, but upon closer inspection, it looks like something bought at a costume store.

Also our spooky figure appears to be child sized so...yeah, they're not really spooky at all.]

So it was true, merely state your request plainly and angels will appear to grant it. Now then, since you have accepted the request, you are bound to complete it! Escort me to my destination so that I may finally acquire what I've been after for so long.

[That should be the end of it, but...]

Also I insist that the offering come with a toy.

[Happy meals are serious business apparently.]

A toy? But where exactly are we supposed to find a toy in [ this dump ] the town...? I don't recall seeing a store for it. But we can definitely give you the cheeseburger.

[ And she turns to her 'partner' with a smile. ]

[Zack's a little slow to respond. He had a scenario in his head in which the weird priest guy he used to work for was taking everyone in the building to a fast food place. And this weird kid was his kid or something.]

[He snaps out of it quickly enough.] Uh, right! Maybe one of the kiddie meals has a toy in it...?

[He's been on the streets, he sort of remembers what a normal fast food joint looks like.]

That is indeed what I have been seeking. I have been seeking to fulfill a prophecy both by trying the item I requested and by receiving the sacred trinket that goes with it.

[It could be worse guys. The kid could have some sort of ridiculously complicated order for you all to remember.]

A prophecy? Can you tell me what exactly that prophecy entails?

I think it entails "Kid gets some grown ups to buy them a happy meal."

[Seriously. Zack's dealt with kids way creepier than this one. He is not scared at all, and he just wants to get this over with.]

Let's go. I think the fast food place is just around the corner.

I see one of you is also aware of the prophecy! You must be truly enlightened!

[...wow Zack must be psychic or something.]

[ That causes Zange to pout, just a little bit. ]

I'm not a grown up, though. I mean, I'm only sixteen, after all! But alright, alright... let's go, okay?

Close enough! Come on.

[Zack starts to head to the corner store, pausing for a second to see if Zange and the kid is following.]

[They're following, creepy robe and all.]

[ "Close enough" my butt, but Zange doesn't necessarily argue as she also follows suit. It shouldn't take them too long to get to their location, however. ]

Oookay, so one cheeseburger from the local corner store! Hey, would any toy count for this?

[zackthekiller]

[You're significantly older than the kid in the robe, Zange. Close enough.]

I dunno. I don't think I've had any kid's meals in a while.

[The most he would get from a fast food joint is a soda. Or maybe some chicken tenders... Something off the value menu that wasn't a kid's meal?]

[The kid comes to a halt, thinking this one over.]

Bring me it, and I will discern its worthiness!

I've never had one, either...

[ For various reasons which she won't state here. ] Ahh, but I don't think I see any toys here, it's mostly just food.

Uh...

[He examines the shelves near the registers. Maybe they have some toys in the dollar bin?]

[Tucked away behind one of the bins is a toy car. It doesn't look like something that's sold here, there's nothing else like it. Maybe somebody left it here at some point? But either way, hey, it's a toy.]

[Zack reaches in and grabs the toy car.]

Hey, guys? Will this do?

It's not my kind of thing, but. . . maybe it's his?
