Welcome to the Magical World of Dreams and Magic! No matter where you are or if you're from a world with technology or otherwise, you've managed to find yourself holding a cell phone with the Magical Girl Raising Project preinstalled - a game with a rather deceiving title - with no way to actually uninstall it. Whether you're doing this voluntarily or tapped the screen by accident due to not knowing much about technology, eventually a magical fairy appears out of the blue from your phone and finally opts to speak.

"My name is Fav, and you have been chosen, pon!" For what, exactly? He soon explains that you, too, can become a real magical girl or magical boy and obtain power and help others. "If you really want to become one, just press the button here, pon. It's that simple, pon."

There's just something about Fav's voice that's so compelling, and you're promised many good things to come if you just tap that screen... but if you wait too long, you'll find your body moving on its own to do the action, as if possessed.

Once that's all said and done, you will find yourself blacking out and the next time you open your eyes... there's a very unfamiliar ceiling in a very unfamiliar bed. The place you've woken up in is a rather lavish hotel room; modern, yet has a somewhat old-fashioned feeling to it. It's rather nice, at least in comparison to the view outside.

Welcome to Town A, your almost stereotypical dystopian city in your almost stereotypical world. If not for the fact that you can't really leave, due to the barriers that encase the edges of the town.

As of right now, the clocks read 9 AM in the morning - it's time to rise and shine, sleepyheads! And as if that wasn't enough, the voice of Fav will remind you of such to meet up in the downstairs area for a very special announcement, although he won't force people to meet with him, as it's definitely not an obligation. You could always avoid the announcement. But do you honestly think that's a good idea, given that you're in a whole different world?

Yeah.

[He takes a step back, and sure enough Mr. Skeleton starts skittering around until it's back on its feet. And now it's focused on Kaine since you know, he bashed its head in with a wrench. Looks like it's his turn to distract.]

[Well, this is going to be a ride, isn't it? Joshua just sighs, hating the fact that he knew he was right about this. At least they were cautious and didn't jump in like idiots... which would have been really bad.]

Get a head start-- I'll try attacking it this time.

[At least he'll wait for Kaine to make a move, but if Joshua needs to move extra quickly, he will.]

[He's got this, he'll run in, pop a stinger and trip the skeleton up with it before making a get away.

One problem, which occurs to him after his attempt to stab the skeleton turns into jabbing his wrist into its jaw.

He doesn't have his powers anymore.]

Fuck!

[Well, the attempted palm strike, kind of worked at knocking it off balance, the downside is the skeleton didn't take kindly to it and grabbed a hold of Kaine's now incredibly sore wrist.]

Little help over here?

[Joshua's turn to strike from behind, not too long after the expletive and the request for helps is heard. While the boy may not feel in top form, he's grateful a lot of his abilities are natural to him even if it still feels like some part of that has been taken away.

Also, a lack of an orbment means his attacks don't strike as hard as they should, but it shouldn't be this hard to take out one enemy?

So wham, he hits the skeleton square in the back this time, behind where his heart would be if he had one. Maybe that will help the skeleton let him go?

If not, Joshua may need to give in to the idea of transforming. His pride is not worth a comrade's health.]

[Should be enough, but just in case it's not, once Kaine's hand is free, he's going to hit the thing in the head a few more times, just to be sure.]

[And then to his new fighting buddy...]

[He looks at the other's hand.]

Are you okay? [Honestly, his first instinct would be to get a first aid kit, but.... that's easier said than done right now.] We should probably get that checked out.

It's fine.

[He looks it over after saying that because of course he didn't actually check first. It's sore, scraped up, it'll probably start bruising, but it's not broken.]

I've had worse, and I heal pretty quickly.

[Actually wait...]

Or at least I used to before I ended up here.

[And he's kicking the skeleton again.]

Seems to be a common story. I'm not sure how much I like the fact they've stripped others of their powers and forced them to use this 'magical' form for strength. It all seems fishy...

[Just a stray thought he has. He's not sure what good it is to do this...]

Definitely fishy, but...

[He's trying to think of the best way to phrase this without getting into a conversation about superheroes and a bunch of other stuff.]

I don't know. I've seen fishier. I don't really do other dimension stuff either, so maybe that's just how it works here? I dunno.
