Today is quiet. Surprisingly so. There's no wake up call for the longest time, and everything seems to be almost scarily quiet. At least, until 12 PM, where the familiar voice of a female whom everyone will recognize as M chimes in.

"Hello, everybody. No need to come to the lobby or anything today for the announcement; this week will be a no murder week. The first reason is due to the Easter holiday. The second reason being because there's something wrong with Fav and this town. Meaning, I'll need you all to help me. You don't want to die because the town fell out of the sky, would you? Anyway, the task is pretty simple: find various colored eggs throughout the town. Easy. Certain eggs give you notes, some give you candy, but what I'm looking for is a body. There are eggs with body parts scattered all over. The eggs are small, but they can contain items that are bigger than itself. If you collect the body parts and reassemble them, this town will be safe. For the time being. If you do succeed, the lobby will become a ballroom on Easter Sunday, and I will provide proper clothes, music, and food for you all. Oh, and I fixed Zack's mess, in the dollhouse. That is all. And don't bother trying to answer back. I won't respond."

Of course, after her words are said and done, everyone who is alive will notice the slight static in some of the buildings, almost unstable. Sometimes you'll even find your hand going through things, occasionally. Even more so if you're in your magical form. Also, to note: apparently the network is down, even though transforming works just fine.

She notes it and will ask Himeko directly:]

How come you two don't get along?

What? Don't get me wrong, we do get along. He just got surprised.

[There's a bit of awkward laughter as her figure on the laptop rubs the nape of her neck.] Right?

[...yeah, she's not buying that completely.]

There's a story here.

[There's a long pause and then-]

Oh my gosh, really!? What bust size are we talking about here?

[Recette'll rescue her from Eruna later on and set the laptop on an empty table.]

Oh yeah, are those documents and student ids related to the game? We should probably look at them.

We do know each other, but no. We were not in the same game.

[She can admit that much.] ...what documents and student IDs?

Kaine said there was stuff on the laptop that read that.

[Since there were only like... two things maybe she can go back and click em? She won't do that since she doesn't really know how, but...]

Did you not know there was other stuff on this laptop?

[For once, Zack's kind of proud to be part of this messed up search party. Even though he had to kind of carry Crown out of the other room. Crown isn't sure he likes being held like a cat.]

Guess what? The laptop is sort of haunted. I think.

I look pretty much exactly the same on the screen that I do in real life.

I thought so! I mean, not that I doubted it, but it's good to know!

We're gonna do our best to make sure we bring back you and everyone else! And then I'll be able to hug you for reals, but until then...

[... Eruna why are you reaching your hands out toward the laptop... Eruna, Eruna no, do not attempt to cuddle the laptop and rub your face against the screen, someone please do something about this]

[She's not sure how to feel about this, really. Someone send help.]

Well, try your best, alright?

... WOW.

Really? You're going to do that? In front of everyone?

[Does Zack have to distract you with his well-endowed magical form so you will stop snuggling the laptop?]

[He's just over here with his face in his hands because...really? Maybe he's going to go back to not attending these things.]

But Zaaack, can you really blame me? She's super adorable~!!

[someone please rescue inaba himeko before eruna potentially breaks the laptop with the amount of snuggling she's doing here]

[Taiki will be surprised and blink a bit, but then he smiles.]

So you're one of the ghosts as well, but not from our group... It's nice to meet you, Himeko!

[The fact that she's an AI immediately sparks his interest, but he's pretty sure the chances of her knowing anything about the Digital World are still pretty low, so he lets it be. At this point he's come to terms with that ship having sailed, so to speak.]

If you don't mind my asking, are you bound to that laptop, or are you just using it to communicate with us?

Inaba.

[There's definitely anger in the way she says that.] Call me Himeko and I'll smack you with something.

[Not the laptop, though. Maybe.]

A-ah, sorry...! [Not again. This keeps happening to him.] I didn't mean to upset you, Inaba... I'm really sorry.

[He doesn't know if she'll still want to answer any questions he has, but... It's at least worth a try.]

Are... all of the ghosts capable of doing this, or is this something exclusive to you? Like some power that you have?

All the ghosts can possess their own items... given they've had practice. This is my laptop, so only I can possess it like this. But other ghosts can press the keys on the keyboard and move the trackpad around.

[He has to sigh a little at that.]

So everyone that's died the last few weeks... Unless we're somehow able to get a hold of any items they might've had, and even then, it would be pretty unlikely they'll be able to communicate with us like this. The weekly letters are still probably our best bet.

...Although. If any of the others wanted to type a message on the laptop for some reason, would they be able to?

[He isn't sure if they'd have need of that, but better to explore all possibilities.]
