Rise and shine, sleepyheads. At exactly 8 AM, characters will be automatically teleported into the world similar to their Magical Phones which lies underneath the hotel, where they'll find food being served for them of all varieties, primarily Japanese. For those who wish to make a request for a change of menu, they only need speak to Fav.

Once everyone finds themselves settled the mascot will suddenly appear with a flash to make an announcement.

"For the next two days, we will be discussing the death of Dia Kurosawa, also known as Diamondere, pon! You will have a break for dinner and sleep and then the trial will continue tomorrow morning! If you have any questions in regards to this trial, please feel free to let me know, and I'll try to answer it to the best of my abilities, pon! Of course, you're not allowed to ask me who the culprit is, because that would be unfair. So make sure to find the culprit and execute them properly, pon! You wouldn't want to kill an innocent person, would you?"

And now, on their magical phones, characters will finally be able to find the autopsy report as the discussion begins. At 8 PM, everyone will be dismissed to have dinner and go back to their rooms.

[ This all seems to be going in circles of self-pity, so even though Miach hadn't planned on contributing much, she's take pity on this party and share her knowledge. But only after she finished having a snack, shhh. ]

It should be considered that Edna was meant to be framed. The killer fabricated a dying message spelling her E-d-d-n-a that was displayed on Dia's phone. However, Dia did not write this.

Her hands were dusty but the phone was clean and her fingers seemed forced shut.

Adding the fact that Dia was positioned in front of the mirror to this, the culprit meant to make it look like she saw Edna in her dying moments and tried to get word about about it.

[SHE WAS BEING FRAMED??? WHAT THE HELL GUYS.

This is the first I heard of it. I never saw the body.

The fake dying text would not have been directed at you though - it was addressed to the whole network but left unsent.

[If they spelled her name wrong then they were a special kind of murderer, if they couldn't even get that right.]

Yes. That was the first thing that stuck out to me, even before I noticed that the message was faked.

Either they didn't know me very well, or their hands were shaking. It's not a difficult name. They probably picked it because it was the shortest.

[That is, if they were shaken up and in a hurry.]

I see... you were in the room, right? What was the room like? Was there a struggle?

All of these apartments are battered up to some degree, but nothing seemed recent. The whole place was not out of the ordinary except for the lifeless body.

I wouldn't think there was a struggle - and that fits the scenario that the culprit meant to create: the image of a Dia killed with a single surprise blow from behind.

I see. I doubt Edna would frame herself, and with all the effort the culprit went into jamming the door...

[But that kinda cuts out Zack, Edna and most likely Eruna, right? So it's only Moeka or. BB...]

Someone tied a sash around Dia's body. I'm not certain about the purpose of that.

A sash? What kind of sash?

[To drag her around? Strangle her?]

Seemed like white bedsheet to me? Szayelaporro took more of a look at it than I did though.

[Szayel speaks up here, reiterating a bit of what the report revealed and what Miach has been talking about, with a few clarifications.]

As you all saw on the autopsy report, in addition to the fatal head wound, Dia also sustained injuries to her ribs and also had scrapes on her knees. It is difficult to tell when these additional injuries were inflicted, so it is possible that they were incurred during a slight struggle or when she fell after receiving the blow to her head.

Also rather curiously, we found a portion of white bedding wrapped around her waist like a sash, similar to her magical outfit. However, she was not transformed at the time we were investigating. Taking the fabric off revealed a spatter of blood and traces of dust. It is likely that it was wrapped around Dia in an attempt to hide the blood.

Oh, hmm... so, instead of throwing away the bedding, they tied it around her?

[Weird.]

Almost vaguely sentimental.

It is a bit of an anomaly. I have to wonder if they simply thought that we wouldn't notice the difference in clothing and would leave it alone, never discovering the blood in the first place.

Why do you think it's sentimental?

Hmm...

[Tamamo tilts her head.] I wonder if she was transformed when the attack occurred? It would be strange if they just tied it around her in her normal uniform. It's almost symbolic.

Not that it changes much, but her magical girl outfit is more around her upper torso than her waist, if you take a look at the picture.

If you would prefer me to clarify further, it was certainly further up on the waist, closer to her rib cage.

Perhaps they couldn't reach her upper torso easily during the struggle?

Were there any pictures taken of the crime scene as you're describing it?

Not as far as I am aware. However, I wasn't the last person to leave.

We were a large group. Zack and I were the ones searching the apartments first and he was the one who found the body.

After that, everyone crammed in: Eruna, Taiki, Recette, me and then Szayelaporro a bit later.

It was a very noise few minutes, there was a lot of pointless screaming.

....And yet nobody thought to preserve the crime scene as it was before tampering with it.
