It's only been two weeks and you've already lost two of your comrades: Dia Kurosawa and Beyond Birthday. But you have to move forward, otherwise there's no possible way that you'll even get the slightest chance to go back home, or even stop this horrific game. Nevertheless, the same voice from Fav chimes in at 9 AM in the morning, just as always.

"Wake up, pon! There will be another important announcement in the lobby, so it's important that you show up, pon."

[THAT SURE IS A HOLE IN THE WALL.

In honor of Sorey and Meebo, Edna decides to start with the thick tome. It definitely doesn't look like anything she'd read.

Does it have a title? What will flipping through it casually tell her?]

[The hole is round and from the bed the cracks along the edges are visible.

The thick tome however has no title but, is full of battle plans each is outlined and the potential scenarios whether of success or failure written out in long hand. At the far back, the handwriting is different. It's just as precise, but gone are the battle plans. In their place is the following words.

Mother, I swear to you. I will regain my strength and use it to protect my new comrades. Then I will return to you and father.]

[Edna glances over both sets of writing, and gives a few of the battle plans a few seconds of attention. She'll take this with her since there's no way she can read it all now. Besides, it might be important.

She also takes a closer look at the sword. The cloth, whetstone and oil are probably items used to take care of it, she guesses.]

[The sword is almost as big as Edna herself. The red hilt is long, the span of two hands if she puts her hands on it.]

[Ugh. She doesn't do swords, but... here she is. Dragging it over to the bed, she lays it down on it, so she can pull it out of it's sheath.]

[The sword is heavy making it extremely difficult to move at all. It leaves the sheathe easily enough revealing a pristine blade. There isn't a dent or spot of rust. The weapon looks brand new while the rest of the room is covered in thick dust.]

[So then. The chances that someone had been here recently just shot up. Suddenly Edna doesn't want to leave this here at all. But she'll take care of that after she's done investigating.

For now, she leaves the unsheathed sword on the bed and goes to inspect the training dummy. How is it for wear and tear? Was it used a lot or is it newer? She's expecting some serious marks with a sword like that in here, if it was used.]

[The training dummy has been beaten up a lot. The poor thing is covered nicks and cuts. There's a wooden dowel in the shoulder straight through a round hole.The wider cuts are all across the chest and head.

Yet arms have signs of repair. The upper forearm on the left side is newer than the right. While the fingers of right hand have also been replaced with newer wood.]

[Yep. Someone definitely had to have been here not so long ago. Definitely not leaving that sword here.

Time to check out the hole in the wall. Just how deep is it? If she sticks her arm in, is it going to go outside/into another room?]

[The hole in the wall is thin but, the dry wall around it is cracked and bent inward. She can get two fingers inside all the way to the knuckle.]

[]Interesting... She's also reminded about the "magical weapon" Snow White mentioned. She wondered if that hole could have been from such a weapon. So. Time to see if she can find out what might have made that hole.

Which means she's going to transform and try swinging that sword that the dummy. It's kind of a rush-- normally she'd never be able to come close to using a weapon like this. So let's see if it's just a normal sword or not.]

[The sword is heavy but, obeys her command. Whether it's magical or not, is unclear. The weapon does not cut the dummy despite the sharp edge.

However, it matches any cut she places the blade into.]

[Okay so. It did cut this dummy. But it won't cut for her.

Sounds magical enough to her. She'll just have to keep it. Maybe there's a chance that a person who can use it will show up. She's still not holding her breath on Snow White's story but-- it fits to an extent. Either way, it's safer in her possession than with some mystery person who could have been here this whole time and said nothing.

...but she'll leave it on the bed for now.

Just long enough to check the rest of the room-- closet, bathroom... anything that might have any additional clues.]

[Edna's in luck. Well, not luck. The closet does contain something. The dresses and shirts inside are brights colors and tacky designs. One probably doesn't need a light in here. They're just that colorful. If she digs a little she'll find a simple, mask in the far back corner.

The bathroom contains bandages and a first aid kit. There's nothing else of value here.]

[Her brother's bad luck touches her from across the distance. She's not excited about it. But you know what. She does like that mask. She'll just take that too.

And the first aid kit and bandages too she guesses.

The clothes she's absolutely leaving. GOOD BYE.

If there's nothing else maybe it's time to go meet up with Zack.]
