It's only been two weeks and you've already lost two of your comrades: Dia Kurosawa and Beyond Birthday. But you have to move forward, otherwise there's no possible way that you'll even get the slightest chance to go back home, or even stop this horrific game. Nevertheless, the same voice from Fav chimes in at 9 AM in the morning, just as always.

"Wake up, pon! There will be another important announcement in the lobby, so it's important that you show up, pon."

It looks like there's some spots that were washed out by water but... here goes.

[Edna reads both of the letters out loud for Zack.]

The rest looks like it was information on other people who were brought here like us. Seems like what Snow White was telling us really did happen. There's stuff here on the murders, the executions, the "magical girls"... It covers seven weeks worth of murders and trials...

[While he takes that all in, she decides to try poking the laptop. She'll look for a power button if it's not on or check out the screen if it is. Anything interesting on the desktop?]

[ It turns on, but once it's powered on... it's password locked. Good luck with that. ]

...ugh. Of course there's a password.

[What would someone even use on a computer? If it were her...

It would probably be the name that she can't read. Dammit.

...are there names in the notes on the people in the notebook?]

[....you know what. At least it isn't 20 names. She'll take it.

So.

Don't mind her if she just tries putting in the names of these people, one at a time, trying to get the password. Starting with the first names. Well. Except for Vignette-- which she tries first. Since it's just one name and the quickest. Otherwise she's starting with first names.]

[ After the first three tries the computer shows a password hint:

"The name of the person that I love." Along with a warning that if Edna gets it incorrect one more time, the computer will autolock for 6 hours. ]

[SHE WAS RIGHT. Ugh. But now she only has one more shot. Alright. She's just going to look through the names and look for one that sounds like a boy.

...because it sounds like a girl letter and a girl thing to do, so-- worth a shot.

Cute boy name, cute boy name...

She'll try Syaoran's name last.

...worst case scenario she'll just have to try again in six hours...]

[ You have fun being locked out for a few hours... but it'll also be accompanied by familiar laughter in the room coming out of nowhere. Guess who, Edna? ]

You know, you could have just asked.

[HOLY EMPYREAN--]

[She stands up, but keeps the locked laptop close to her.]

And who are you? You don't look dead.

Wow, was I forgotten already?

[ There's the same biting sarcasm in her light airy tone. ]

I did introduce myself last week as your lovely magical mastermind, M. And nope, not dead. And dying isn't on my to-do list anytime soon, either. But don't worry, I'll give you the password for that laptop. You're not going to find it anywhere else, anyway.

It's not like the dead speak.

[She didn't talk to M herself, but she did kind of glance over the stuff. Didn't think she'd be meeting her in person so soon.]

[There's definitely some sarcasm laced into her forced, sweet smile.]

[ Well, it's for a definition of "in person", since she's not physically there. It's just her voice. ]

I'll send a text with the name. [ And soon enough, she'll get a message with the kanji: 八重樫太一 ] And I was Fav's master for that particular game as well.

[Somebody looks pissed. You're lucky we actually need that laptop, otherwise it would have been smashed to smithereens.]

[...that. Sure isn't any language they use in her world. Hopefully someone else will recognize it.]

八重樫太一 goes into the password slot after she figures out how to get that on the laptop.

Will it let her in this time?]

[ Ding ding ding! The desktop seems to be rather standard with just the basic icons - There's the My Computer, Documents and StuCS folders on it. ]

[Alright. Time to gooooooo. Documents sounds like a good place to start.]

[ The documents folder seems to contain a lot of word documents, labeled by week. If she opens them up, she'll find more extensive details on the people she's met along with what she thinks of the mastermind and Fav. ]

[She reads through them one at a time to properly get a feel for the people involved as well as what she thinks about M and Fav before heading back and checking out the folder labeled StuCS.]
