It's only been two weeks and you've already lost two of your comrades: Dia Kurosawa and Beyond Birthday. But you have to move forward, otherwise there's no possible way that you'll even get the slightest chance to go back home, or even stop this horrific game. Nevertheless, the same voice from Fav chimes in at 9 AM in the morning, just as always.

"Wake up, pon! There will be another important announcement in the lobby, so it's important that you show up, pon."

[This world doesn't work in a way that most of them are familiar with--not many of them have cried over it. She doesn't bother pointing it out, though, knowing it would be futile.

What were you trying to exorcise?

The impurities that were around the town. Fav-san and Kyuubey-san said they were out there... and even though they might be mostly concentrated at the apartments, there was still some here, too.

I see. It took courage for you to try even though we were told nothing could be done. How unfortunate that it didn't work.

[She gestures toward the fallen tree.] Is it there?

Being told that nothing can be done is incomprehensible. There is always a way.

[ Her words sound determined. ] No. I just got angry and used the tree to vent.

[selfloving]

[This combined with some of her other conversations this week...They sure are an optimistic bunch, or people who wish they could be optimistic.] That's right. It's frustrating to fail, but more so to be kept from trying.

[She looks impressed upon realizing the tree is just a victim of Zange's frustration.] I didn't expect you to have that kind of temper.

Well, we know an exorcism won't work. There must be an alternative.
