18 REMAIN...?

This week has been absurdly strange. From Fav bringing his "friend" over to force people to have their wishes granted via murder to the fact that the arcade makes a lot of people uncomfortable. I mean, who wouldn't be, when it spells out a lot of people's life stories in it? It honestly is surreal. Nevertheless, things seem to be quiet at first... at least, until people decide to exit their rooms in the Inn (sorry, Miach and One) and take a whiff of that Breath of the Wild that you might have been stuck playing on last night--

Except for the immediate fact that the first thing people in the inn will smell is the faint, coppery smell of blood in the morning. In fact, there's a whole trail of it that leads to various places depending on which floor you're staying at the inn. And there might be some blood outside, too...

No. I followed a trail in the lobby up here and found you and a pool of blood. What was I supposed to think?

Did you hear anything weird this morning? Any bumps or crashes or people? If they were right outside, you might have been able to hear something...

[It seems like a fair enough question.]

I was sleeping like a log, so I probably missed it.

[He was exhausted from fighting the training dummy, ok?]

[Well it doesn't help, but she's investigated with him enough to trust him now. So that leaves their next step--]

Hmm... there was also a trail that lead outside. We should probably check out there.

[Hi, friends, I was sent by the academy

She's not quite at the top of the stairs, so she misses Edna's last point, and makes this incredibly redundant addition:]

...This doesn't look good. There's blood all the way downstairs.

Right. We were just headed outside to check on things out there. Why don't you come with us.

[THE MORE THE MERRIER WHEN MURDER IS INVOLVED.]

[Edna gets a little bit of a scowl. Don't steal here thunder, Edna.]

I just arrived. I walked from the apartments. [She exhales heavily>] Right, let's go.

We haven't found much either yet. [Off they go then! Following the trail out of the inn to wherever that will take them.]

[ The blood trail will lead them outside the inn and makes a left turn to go through the alleyway between the inn and the item store. The first thing they'll find on this trail of blood is near the back of the apartments, where there seems to be a bow tie. ]

[After she finishes delegating to these little babies. who are acting like little babies.]

[Team ho. Edna bends down and picks up the bow tie. Is this...?]

Wasn't this the thing Zack was talking about last week? The thing that belonged to Eliza they were playing with when the murder occurred?

[Thanks for not being a little baby, Edna. One leans in, extending her hand to touch the bowtie's material.]

I can't imagine what else it could be. It's supposed to change your voice, isn't it? Does it work?

[ It is most definitely the voice changing bowtie. And it works. Would one of you girls like to test it? ]

[Edna will give it a test. After turning it on--]

[So one of Eliza's things ended up out here. And it did... well. That. Well then...]

Should we head back and check it out? I think the others have the park under control.

[Well, Zack and Eliza were friends; they could have been playing...Or. Or what.]

In a minute. Let's make sure there's nothing else here.

[Does the blood trail continue? She inspects the ground and anything else on it.]

[ The blood trail does continue from here to the river. Other than that, there doesn't seem to be anything else on the ground. ]

Fine. Let's bring that along.

[Having learned the basics from Dahlia, she takes a not that great photo after struggling with her phone for a bit.

Now it's time to go exploring, Edna.] I'm ready.

Alright.

[Back to the inn and to Eliza's room they go. When they get there, Edna opens the door. What do they see?]

[ Apparently Dragon the Diglett is sleeping close to the door and wakes up, momentarily confused.

On the desk, Edna will find the seven branched sword, Muramasa, the pickaxe, and the dull kitchen knife, which is piled up randomly in a row. There's also a fan on the desk and the rest of the stuff she's regained. There are also several pages of notebook paper as well. Her other Pokemon that she managed to get back is also sleeping, too.

The bed looks a bit rumpled and not straightened out at all. ]

[He'll do that when he's done dealing with the woman shouting accusitory things at him.]
