18 REMAIN...?

This week has been absurdly strange. From Fav bringing his "friend" over to force people to have their wishes granted via murder to the fact that the arcade makes a lot of people uncomfortable. I mean, who wouldn't be, when it spells out a lot of people's life stories in it? It honestly is surreal. Nevertheless, things seem to be quiet at first... at least, until people decide to exit their rooms in the Inn (sorry, Miach and One) and take a whiff of that Breath of the Wild that you might have been stuck playing on last night--

Except for the immediate fact that the first thing people in the inn will smell is the faint, coppery smell of blood in the morning. In fact, there's a whole trail of it that leads to various places depending on which floor you're staying at the inn. And there might be some blood outside, too...

[ There isn't blood in most of the park area, but there is that trail that can be seen right outside of it on the right side of the park. ]

[........that sure is some blood. She'll sigh and take a closer look. Is there any pattern to it?]

[ It seems to be drops of blood that don't make a pattern but it definitely seems to be leading in two directions. One being south of the park, and the other being towards the river. ]

[ There are several things about the river today. First, parts of it are dyed red. Second, there seems to be a naginata floating on the river.

Last but not least... that sure is a dead body laying there face towards the water.

[ Congratulations, you've found a dead body. More specifically... Eliza Owens is dead. ]

[Look who just got here and is screaming? She'll just... let you identify it. No corpse touching for her.]

You know what. Seraphina is just going to grab that naginata from the river and hand it to Recette.]

Hey... will you hold on to this for me? I want to make sure no one messes with the evidence.

[She trusts the cute kid and... she wants to help a little, even if it's just helping her feel useful.]

[ She'll type out a quick network post and then take the nagitana shakily.]

[Dead bodies are gross.]

[She shivers and tightens her grip on the nagitana.]

I was just telling her that things would turn out okay on monday...

Fear not. As long as you are with me, no one will harm you. We will be able to investigate and find our murderer in peace.

[It's not going to bring back the dead, but she's certainly not letting Recette get hurt on her watch, if that's any consolation.]

[Recette'll shift the nagitana to one hand and pull out the Magical Phone she found at the middle school. Anything off at first glance?]

I found this at the middle school. Do you think it might be Eliza's?

[Time for more corpse touching Seraphina.]

[Ugh... she absolutely doesn't want to touch it but... gotta find their murder-happy co-habitator.

Time to look over the body. Any obvious external wounds?]

[ The obvious one is the diagonal deep cut to Eliza's left side of her throat; while it's not enough to dismember her, it's definitely a thing. ]

[Does the wound match the naginata that she found in the river.]

[Zack has changed to magic form and is dashing to the body.]

[Yep, that's the girl he's been talking to all week. Are any of her pokeballs on her, or is it just her and her wounds?]

[Never mind that she's the worst corpse toucher of all time.]

[ You better be careful, since there seem to be partial bloody footprints near the river.

But no, her monster balls Pokéballs aren't here. ]

[Besides the obvious blood, is there anything off about her clothes or her nails? Anything that might indicate a struggle?]

[ Her clothes are awfully wet considering that she was pushed into a river, but there seems to be some bruising on her right shoulder area. ]
