Rise and shine, sleepyheads. At exactly 8 AM, characters will be automatically teleported to a place rather familiar to them. In fact, it seems that they were sent home! Congratulations, everyone, you've made it to the Good End-- for like, ten minutes, before they're immediately, once again, whisked away to the familiar courtrooms of last week, a world similar to the one they see in their magical phones. Soon enough, Fav, floating in front of a ginormous tree speaks up, grinning.

"April Fool's, pon~!" Because of course it would be a joke to actually send people home. "Don't worry, that joke doesn't cost any mana, so you don't have to worry about the mana drain, pon. As our apology, we'd like to offer you something else in return, pon."

And that offering is a pie in everyone's faces, no exception. "Anyway, jokes aside, today's trial is for the murder of Eliza Owens, otherwise known as Mystic Mirage, pon. You will have a break for dinner and sleep and then the trial will continue tomorrow morning! If you have any questions in regards to this trial, please feel free to let me know, and I'll try to answer it to the best of my abilities, pon! Of course, you're not allowed to ask me who the culprit is, because that would be unfair. So make sure to find the culprit and execute them properly, pon! You wouldn't want to kill an innocent person, would you?"

And now, on their magical phones, characters will finally be able to find the autopsy report as the discussion begins. At 8 PM, everyone will be dismissed to have dinner and go back to their rooms.

AUTOPSY REPORT & BODY INVESTIGATION

Autopsy Report - Eliza Owens

Cause of Death: Blood loss caused by deep cut to the throat.
Body Discovery: Approximately at 10 AM, Friday
Time of Death: Estimated at around 10 - 11 PM Thursday
Condition of Body: Body is completely drenched with water from the river. There is a long, diagonal cut to the left side of the throat. Slight bruising to the right shoulder.
Condition of Scene: Found face first in the lake, next to the naginata.

If anybody wishes to investigate the body, Fav's brought it down in pristine condition, along with pictures of the crime scene as it was during the discovery. How convenient.

Whereabouts - Thursday and Friday

On the phones of the suspects a new button reading alibis is shown, along with an option to give your alibi, whether it's verbal or by text.

[ After some time of wiping pie off her face and subsequently off her hands, muttering comments like 'eugh, icky', Miach is finally ready to give her alibi. ]

At the presumed time of death, I was in the north apartment complex within my home. Thanks to the middle school, I finally have gained access to a lot of books, so I was reading. I went to sleep sometime between 11pm and midnight.

I woke back up around 9am and had breakfast in my own room, eating things I had brought over from the store previously. I didn't leave until Zack notified us of Eliza's death, at which point I headed straight down to the crimescene.

I was alone for all of this time, so nobody can confirm this alibi. It's inconvenient.

Very well:

On Thursday, I surveyed the impurity with Szayelaporro Granz. We recorded its position and made other observations. This was before Eliza regained that pet of hers because I spotted her on my way to a late afternoon showing. I was completing a task with one of those exceptionally strange townspeople. Regrettably, we watched the entire thing.

That evening, I saw someone swinging a weapon at another body on the Sakura Inn roof, but it was merely Zack. Indulging in some therapeutic violence, no doubt. Afterward, I returned to Apartment #30 in the northern complex. I am trying to learn the lingua franca of Town A using books in the middle school, so I…admit to burning the candle at both ends.

…I date and number everything; though I suppose that could be forged, I’ve done that since the day I arrived.

I didn’t return to the Inn until Friday morning. I saw the blood trail and followed it to second floor, where I encountered Zack Foster and Edna.

That’s all. Accusing me is the real joke.

On Thursday afternoon, I was aiming to complete the pie task and first ran into Mr. Granz in the apartments. Not too long after, I found Miss Edna in the middle of completing the same task, and decided to join her. Afterwards, I simply returned to my room on the first floor of the Sakura Inn and remained there until dinner time. I went to the corner shop, had a bite to eat and went for a walk around the park. I returned to my room at around 8 and went to sleep at approximately 10. Then on Friday morning, I opened my door and found a blood trail that led to Zack's room on the second floor of the inn. Mr. Granz was also there, but we parted ways and he took the trail that led outside. ....And that's what I did with my time.

[Seriously, what the fuck was that? This is the worst April Fool's Day ever.]

I spent the night in my room, like I pretty much do every night. Drinking, trying to find something that isn't garbage on TV, giving up and going the fuck to sleep.

[Ugh, how tedious it is that he has to contribute to alibis this week.]

I spent a good deal of my time on Thursday investigating the impurity that manifested in the apartments. Both One and Dahlia can confirm this, as I spoke with both of them on separate occasions that day. When I finished up with that, I returned to the inn around evening time. I ordered room service, spent some time in the bath house, then retired for my room for the remainder of the night.

As for Friday, I left my roomafter 9AM and immediately ran into Dahlia, who was investigating the blood trail in the hallway. We spoke for some time before splitting paths, her going upstairs and I going down and outside. Not long after, I received a request from Zack to examine Eliza's body, which can be seen on the network. I activated my magical form and went to the river immediately. That is where I spent the remainder of the investigation.

There is now a table where characters may leave their evidence, along with any notes where they found it, etcetera. Feel free to utilize this top level to reinvestigate any pieces of evidence that was found by the other characters.

[Edna presents to the table a notebook found in Eliza's room where she wrote her small diary and the voice changing bow tie she and One found outside the Inn; set to imitate Zack's voice should you use it.]

[Seraphina presents the pictures she took of the partial footprints and the pictures taken at the initial autopsy of the body, down by the river. She also puts the naginata she and Recette took from the scene on the table for others to look at.]

[Along with the evidence Edna provided, One also supplies photos of the blood trail outside of the Inn where the bowtie was found, and around three of Eliza's room, each from different angles. The presence of Eliza's two recovered Pokemon can be seen, as well as the stash of weapons on her dresser.]

[He overheard people talking about the dead people being ghosts and rushed over. He grabs the envelope with Eliza's name on it.]

He's trying his best to keep himself reined in in front of the others since he's a suspect but he's practically shaking with anger as he pulls out a cloth to wipe the pie off of his glasses and face. He spent so long on his hair and now it's ruined fuck you Fav-]

After she's done being completely shocked by the audacity, she growls angrily, flinging the pie from her face.]

Let's get this over with. I found the body first, so if anyone has any questions, go right ahead. I already put the evidence I found over on that table over there if you want to see it for yourself.

[She's still toweling her face dry after giving her testimony, equally terse but forcing calmness.]

You said there was a bruise on her shoulder? I'm having trouble making sense of it.

ORDER OF EVENTS

Well, with all I've heard and seen, I think we can propose an order of events in which the murder took place.

Eliza decided to go out patrolling on Thursday night. Viewing her extensive weapons stash, it may be safe to presume the naginata is hers as well. While patrolling the Sakura Inn, she may have run into someone trying to break into Zack's room and tried to distract them. A confrontation took place, where she was slammed against the wall, causing bruising, before her own weapon was turned against her.

[Pause.]

Looking at the massive pool of blood in front of Zack's room, it's most likely she was slashed right then and there. There are two possible sources for the scratches on his door... either from the culprit getting in, or, I'm afraid, more likely from Eliza clawing at the door, trying to get help. However, the culprit would have none of that, and dragged her all the way from the Inn to the river where she was tossed. The bow tie was dropped halfway. Eliza would've bled out in mere seconds with a wound like that. There was not a chance.

[Another moment to think.]

There were no footprints I have seen. If someone did find any, please inform me. Most likely, they wiped up anything too obvious while deciding to... leave the massive pools of blood untouched, due to how impossible it would be to clean that swiftly and quietly.
