☆ WEEK TWO ( TRIAL - DAY TWO )

Trial Day #2
Sunday, Week 2

Victim

Suspects

Today is decisively different from yesterday; while music wakes up everyone, they're not immediately brought to the trial area. Not yet.

"Today, we will start off with room searches, pon. All of the suspects' rooms are now open, pon. Today is the last day for the trial of Eliza Owens, pon. So make sure you vote carefully. Abstaining is not allowed this week."

Access to voting on their magical phones is now available, along with a warning for characters to vote, as it closes at 8 PM.

[She nods slowly, though the suspicion doesn't leave her face.] I believe we always agreed that you are a self-sufficient man. We can argue the semantics of "by yourself" later, I guess.

[One is clearly taking no joy in this...Justice must be carried out, but even he has convictions she doesn't like challenging.]

And you were in the bath house alone that night, just to be sure?

[Indeed they can. He kind of has his neck on the chopping block here so he focuses on the bit that can (hopefully) help him.]

I was alone, yes. I can confirm that I was back in my room before 10PM. Even I recognize that missing any sort of signs that a scuffle was occurring is ridiculous. I still don't understand how those in the vicinity of it managed to not hear a thing.

That's right...no one who lives at the hotel mentioned hearing anything.

This is not an implication: Why would someone go all the way to the river, in your opinion?

[...he thinks about it.]

It is rather strange, isn't it? They obviously wanted to wash something away because there was no way they were going to be able to disguise that as the true crime scene with the amount of blood evidence at the inn and along the way there. It would be too dangerous to do any washing in the inn itself with how many people were around to potentially discover what was going on.

There are the obvious things. Bloodstains, fingerprints... We know they almost left footprints behind.

Something on Eliza's body, though? Is that what you mean?

I'm not quite sure. If they carried Eliza all the way there, her bleeding a trail behind as they walked to the river, they would have needed to wash blood off of themselves as well, wouldn't they? Blood is not so easy to wash off once it has stained fabric, however, so I am baffled that we haven't managed to find one during these checks.

I haven't tested myself whether the stains would stay behind on a "magical girl" uniform after the transformation was dropped. Magic, though...

In fact, it would be almost impossible for me to do so. [No form change, ho.]

But that might explain the lack of bloodstains.

Most of us have already transformed here.

But not all. If stains remain on our magical forms, then there are some people we have yet to look at.

...

[Oh no please he's her boo.]

He's only been seen in avatar form, right?
