15 REMAIN...?

You guys thought last week was strange? This week is even worse. First of all, there's the lingering thoughts in the air, the attempt to deduce who the real killer of Eliza was after failure. It's a bright determination never to fail again. But then, there was that motive... a friend in danger, and the fact that it's difficult to tell if they're real or not.

At least waking up seems to be fine; there's no big issue... except for the fact that today is the final day before Fav decided to kill the hostages. There has to be a way to stop him-

"Someone has been murdered, pon. And because of that, your hostages will be spared, pon."

Well, then.

[ While everyone is having a party around Seraphina, Miach finally slides in and -upon seeing Seraphina is waking up- makes her way straight to Nanami. It's.... kind of very icky looking, but whatever nausea she feels at sight and smell, Miach swallows.

What position is the body in? ]

[Nanami is on her back, hands at her sides, and face turned up towards the slight spattering of blood on the ceiling.]

[ Blood on the ceiling?

Miach will take a photo of that. Oh and of Nanami too while she's at it.

But how about that blood? Is there a specific pattern to the splatter?

And on another note are there any foreign objects like dirt or shards in the bloody mess that is left of Nanami's face? ]

[The spatters are inconsistent.

As for the bloody mess, shards of glass are embedded in the mess of the face.]

[ ........ this casts a different light on Seraphina over there.

Do the shards have a specific color or pattern? Anything that allows you to guess what they are from? ]

[The shards all match. One side of them is reflective. They could potentially be part of the same thing.]

[ Are there any other glass shards around the crime scene? Because Miach is going to try and take a look for that now. ]

[There is not. What she'll find instead is cuts and blood on the dolls around the crime scene. It gets less the further one goes from the scene.]

Hmm.... odd.

[ How big are the cuts on the dolls? Shard-sized or larger gashes? ]

[The cuts are larger and longer than any of the pieces of glass. The amount of them increases closer to the crime scene.]

Might be that we need to look for a second weapon...

[ She's mostly musing out loud to herself here. Is that all that can be found around the scene of the crime? Miach will check thoroughly. ]

[Coming over to help Miach once Seraphina has calmed down sufficiently.

Does the glass found in Seraphina's hand match the shards found in Nanami's face?]

[That is a yes. It's a perfect match.]

[...Gross. Suppressing the desire to recoil from the corpse, she'll shuffle a little closer. Anything other than the injury to the face that's worthy of note? Any other injuries? What are clothes lookng like?]

[Nanami's clothes are ripped up and extremely bloody but the body is intact minus the obvious. There is a pattern of the rips. Upon closer inspection that are a few heavy bruises along the sides of the neck and shoulders. Some bruises are also on her hands.]

[ At this point Miach also wanders back to the body. ]

We photographed this, right? Because it seems all that's left to do now is assemble the weapon.

[ ......... she would like to pretend she is less disgusted by this idea than she actually is. ]

Yes, I took pictures of the scene when I arrived.

[She'll make a face at the morbid jigsaw puzzle suggestion here, but....]

Yes, it seems that would be a good idea. [Your move Miach!! Cuz guess who is not making any moves to pick out glass from Nanami's face, uh....

But also while we're at it, is there a specific distribution of blood on Nanami's clothes to suggest whether she was standing/sitting/lying down when she took the blow to the face?]

[ .... alright. So now she doesn't have a choice anymore. Miach likes to pretend to be above it all, but even she has human reflexes and this is really really gross. Okay, kneeling down. Sitting next to the corpse.... Miach takes another deep breath, willing all her stomach's content to stay right where it is at all costs....

... and then she's ready.

Miach will pick out all the shards out of the bloody mess that is Nanami's face. Is that possible for her? She'll certainly take her time with doing it carefully and soon some kind of desensitization sets in that makes her forget that what she is touching used to be a human face. Now she just... needs to not remind herself again, yes. Work trance. It'll be fine. ]

[Yeah, that's fine. Have fun taking all of that out.]

[ Well this feels like it took an eternity. Miach takes a few deep breaths and takes a look at that pile she just got. Time to try and start assembling them into their original shape. If she's already sitting in blood, with blood over her legs and hands, may as well touch some bloody glass shards some more, huh. And then wince when she inevitably gets some smaller cuts herself, oops. ]

[It's not going to be complete, but it's going to start making a circular shape. There are some pieces missing.]

[Since Len is taking over

There'a bit of an addendum to the rips: they're only on the back side of the torso area, and most of the blood seems to be distributed in that area; on the from side there's definitely less blood and there doesn't seem to be any specific area to suggest what she was doing when she took the blow to the face.]

[Huh. So if most of the blood is coming from the back-torso-ish area, can we check under her clothes to see what damage has been done?]

[Yep. There are tears in that area, but... no injuries under those tears. Huh.]
