Monday-Sunday, Week 4

Today is quiet. Surprisingly so. There's no wake up call for the longest time, and everything seems to be almost scarily quiet. At least, until 12 PM, where the familiar voice of a female whom everyone will recognize as M chimes in.

"Hello, everybody. No need to come to the lobby or anything today for the announcement; this week will be a no murder week. The first reason is due to the Easter holiday. The second reason being because there's something wrong with Fav and this town. Meaning, I'll need you all to help me. You don't want to die because the town fell out of the sky, would you? Anyway, the task is pretty simple: find various colored eggs throughout the town. Easy. Certain eggs give you notes, some give you candy, but what I'm looking for is a body. There are eggs with body parts scattered all over. The eggs are small, but they can contain items that are bigger than itself. If you collect the body parts and reassemble them, this town will be safe. For the time being. If you do succeed, the lobby will become a ballroom on Easter Sunday, and I will provide proper clothes, music, and food for you all. Oh, and I fixed Zack's mess, in the dollhouse. That is all. And don't bother trying to answer back. I won't respond."

Of course, after her words are said and done, everyone who is alive will notice the slight static in some of the buildings, almost unstable. Sometimes you'll even find your hand going through things, occasionally. Even more so if you're in your magical form. Also, to note: apparently the network is down, even though transforming works just fine.

[Whenever he opens the envelope that reads Eliza's name, it reads:]

Hi again everyone! I wish I could actually write messages to you outside of this, but I guess we have to work with what we have. You guys should be more careful when entering those rooms, though, okay? Go together so accidents like last week's don't happen! And I hope you're all holding on to those keys!

I'll definitely be at the ball when it happens, too! Maybe we can figure out some way for us to dance together. I'll see if I can put together an outfit somehow.

Zack - I'm touched you'd go so far for me, but you'd better not do something like that ever again, okay? I don't want to have to punch any more of my friends!

Recette - You're doing your best! Slinky can be hard to handle sometimes, but let her battle a bit with other Pokemon and she'll probably feel a bit better. And bring her to my room to visit sometime.

Dahlia - Congrats on becoming a Pokemon trainer! I know it must be really tough for these Pokemon, so take good care of them, okay?

Eruna - Those meetings were a pretty good idea! I'll make sure to be at the next one too!

Suzy - Leave Zack alone or it won't just be marshmallows next time.

Everyone -

Loath as I am to do so, it seems we must cooperate a little longer. For now, you are the enemy of my enemy. Our truce is temporary.

Miach, was it you who sealed the hallway? Well, you're the only one left there now, so take care of that building. Since the way is closed, please find me on the roof of the hotel in the mornings instead. That is to say, "find."

I'm looking for less unwieldy methods of communication. Not all of us are satisfied with crass methods. I know you, Zange, doubted the truth of these letters most of all. I have only my word to give right now.

I am in contact with Hajime Hinata. I would provide a picture of his likeness, but I fear I am unable to draw. As per our conversations, at least one secret to this unstable town seems to lie beyond the barrier. I imagine touching it will hurt, so please leave that to us for the time being.

Don't do anything stupid until then.

[Ah yes, sweet Morgan and the prize doll of hers. Hearing about these things is still somewhat surreal to Dahlia, but she doesn't really doubt the veracity of the second game. If only because it captured the idiocy of her mother so perfectly.]

Does it now.... [She smiles.] ..I suppose you can always count on Mr. Wright to find the truth. [By which she means, "bungle his way to the right answer by tripping and faceplanting in it.]

Oh! My mistake, Zack. I haven't been able to find anything here either, but I haven't been looking for too long. You and your ... deer? distracted me.

SUNDAY'S EASTER BALL

[At around 10 AM in the morning, things stop being quiet. No matter where you are, the all too familiar voice of your local mastermind, M, as she is called pipes up out of scenic nowhere:]

Good work, everyone! You all did a wonderful job getting all of Lucy's parts together, so as promised, there will be an Easter ball. Your formal clothes can be found in your closets, so please wear them to the party.

[And what she says is true: there are dresses and suits in everyone's rooms that suit their tastes. And for boys who have female magical girl forms, they'll have dresses appropriate for those forms.

In any case, for those who enter the lobby today, they'll notice that it looks completely redone; there's a bunch of tables lined with delicious food from around the world.

Of course, there's an additional announcement:]

Oh, and for entertainment-- [A stage seems to appear where the receptionist desk and a proper Pokémon arena.] I won't be providing it. You'll have to make do with what's already there. Have fun! And don't try replying. I won't answer.

[Who has two bandaged thumbs and has never been to a formal dance before? This guy!]

[So when he finds the suit in his room, it ends up looking like something that was fished out of Hot Topic. He was going to ignore the feminine tuxedo because it wouldn't fit his normal form... But Eruna could do something stupid again. Fuck.]

[He transforms and changes into the dress, tossing the robe thing he usually wears (which has been washed since the trial, but the bloodstains kind of set in) at the ever suffering Danny doll he's still using as a demented stress toy. He transforms back to normal, attempts to put on the suit...]

[Hey, would he be wearing the dress if he goes back to magical form? He transforms again, and sure enough the fancy lady tux is still there. He goes back to normal and heads out...]

[Zack glances at his pokemon.]

Oh, the Deerling? That's Crown. He used to be Eliza's pokemon before... You know.

[Crown's still wanting a treat from you, human.]

[Oh, yeah. Zack gets you on that front.]

... You know, that's actually better than not saying anything.

Kiss Note Sign In

[One of the snack tables has been re-purposed to be a sign in table, as left upon it is the Kiss Note open to the first page with Sign In! written on the top. Recette's already written her name in it looks like.
(Feel free to opt out of this and be a rebel and not sign in. By signing in your name, the Kiss note glitches out and since you can't kiss yourself, randomly chooses someone else on the list to make you kiss. By random, I of course mean whatever pairings amuses you guys the most.)]

It'd probably be more efficient to just buy stuff, but you can only get ingredients for item fusion in dungeons from monsters. So if you wanna make special stuff, you should go into dungeons. Oh but um, you won't unlock the ability to fuse stuff until your merchant level is higher.

[Oh hey, she's placing stuff. Game Tear's probably already mentioned it by now but she'll reiterate it.]

You should place whatever will attract the kinds of customers you want in the window. Like if you sell a lot of expensive stuff, put stuff like that in the window.

[Of course you won't have expensive stuff at this point, but thought that counts.]

Aaaugh! I've been kissed by a DOG!

[Oh, great. Another sign in? Great, where's that digimon kid when you need him?]

[He goes through the profiles until the phone reads out his own, then just copies the letters down onto the paper...]

Yup! I mean, he hasn't failed yet! It's really cool how he always does somehow.

[ Well, why not? That is Miach's reasoning for being here and so she is here. She's wearing this dress* and she looks fairly comfortable in it. ]

Prompt A - Food
[ Catch her at the food tables eating...... mostly white rice with only very little side-dishes. It's just a whole lot of white rice. She's very enthusiastic about this rice and might have some stuck on her face. ]

Prompt B - Dance
[ Miach likes dancing - you might have been able to tell by the way she liked to hop and spin in daily life or maybe you didn't know at all, but it's pretty obvious now. She's doing a lot of spinning around to the music on her own, following no set pattern, but at least barely going with the rhythm? She's on her tippy-toes a lot and she seems to be having a good time. Her personal showtime is restricted to a corner of the room though, she's... wallflowering in the most flashy way. ]

Prompt C - Murder Memories
[ Miach is somewhere in a corner, looking back and forth between her magical phone and the ballroom, seeming more sinisterly amused this time. If you come look over her shoulder, you'll see that she's looking at pictures of the corpses she photographed for earlier trials. ]

And yet, all is forgotten now....

((*ooc: I KNOW THE LINKED DRESS IS MADE FROM RECYCLED PLASTIC BOTTLES, but for the sake of this game assume it is shiny fabric instead. The cut is just very Miach-fitting and so is the shine, alright?))

[Well, she's Mia. She does things like that.]

[Zack will be curious about the pictures on her phone, then. Hope you don't mind him looking over your shoulder, pal.]

[Surprisingly, Kaine's not throwing a table or swearing at anything so far. He's just kind of awkwardly walking around the room, not really knowing what to do here. He's not a party person, and even if he was, that corpse over there kinda kills any sort of party mood as far as he's concerned.

Still, he's here, he's not hanging out in his room, and sure he looks super uncomfortable in the tuxedo, honestly, he probably looks more like security for the ball, than actually here for the ball, but that's something at least?

Odds are if he's not eating, he can be found just kind of standing around, looking like he's expecting some sort of disaster to happen (which probably doesn't dispel the whole security image), which...it's not? Yay? But he's not letting his guard down. No way in hell does he trust this party to not turn into a mess.]

[Dahlia is not all that interested in the festivities that M insists they will be having, but she can't exactly resist trying on the dress that has materialized in her closet. It isn't anything she would have chosen for herself, but she doesn't hate it either.]

Arena
[While Dahlia herself had no real intention of checking out the new arena that's appeared, the same can't be said of her new electric rodent companion. Pikachu, who's been pretty down all week, perks up and runs up to the newly set up arena, and Dahlia who has decided to just deal with the pokemon for the time being, calls out after him.]

Wait, Pikachu, don't -

[But to her surprise, it's not actually a trap like she thought it might be. She still doesn't trust that M doesn't have any tricks up her sleeve for this Easter celebration, but this seems... harmless (?)]

Wall Flower Corner
[Taking a break from the actual party with a plate of food in her hands, while Pikachu and Buizel are "dancing." She's speaking to nobody in particular when she grumbles.]

This music is terrible.

[Come interrupt with conversation, an invitation to dance (??), or just save her from the pokemon she's somehow wound up having to look after.]

[Miach will hear what is probably by now a familiar saccharine giggle coming from the side.]

You mustn't go around like that Miss Miach.

[Reaching up to brush a grain of rice off Miach's cheek, she smiles.]

It's so uncivilized..

[Recette can be found in various places at the ball wearing this cute red dress with polka dot accents. Slinky is here too, though Recette couldn't get her into the bow she was provided.]

A. Food

[Recette can be found hanging around anything sweet and sugary, gorging herself on the treats. She's gotta make the best of this opportunity! She'll backoff if asked,
but if you want to eat sweets, you best act now before she devours them all.]

B. Dance

[Recette is energetically trying to dance to the music, but she's not that great at dancing. Sure she's not bad either... she just falls flat into the line between looking decent and looking like an idiot. She doesn't really seem to notice though. Approach?]

C. Arena

[If you have Pokemon, then Recette will wave you over to where Slinky is waiting impatiently in the arena.]

Eliza said in the letter that Slinky might feel better if she battled, so it'd mean a whole lot if you could battle us! Though uh... I dunno what moves she knows so it might wind up being more her battling with me cheering on.
