Monday-Sunday, Week 4

Today is quiet. Surprisingly so. There's no wake up call for the longest time, and everything seems to be almost scarily quiet. At least, until 12 PM, where the familiar voice of a female whom everyone will recognize as M chimes in.

"Hello, everybody. No need to come to the lobby or anything today for the announcement; this week will be a no murder week. The first reason is due to the Easter holiday. The second reason being because there's something wrong with Fav and this town. Meaning, I'll need you all to help me. You don't want to die because the town fell out of the sky, would you? Anyway, the task is pretty simple: find various colored eggs throughout the town. Easy. Certain eggs give you notes, some give you candy, but what I'm looking for is a body. There are eggs with body parts scattered all over. The eggs are small, but they can contain items that are bigger than itself. If you collect the body parts and reassemble them, this town will be safe. For the time being. If you do succeed, the lobby will become a ballroom on Easter Sunday, and I will provide proper clothes, music, and food for you all. Oh, and I fixed Zack's mess, in the dollhouse. That is all. And don't bother trying to answer back. I won't respond."

Of course, after her words are said and done, everyone who is alive will notice the slight static in some of the buildings, almost unstable. Sometimes you'll even find your hand going through things, occasionally. Even more so if you're in your magical form. Also, to note: apparently the network is down, even though transforming works just fine.

[Dahlia is not all that interested in the festivities that M insists they will be having, but she can't exactly resist trying on the dress that has materialized in her closet. It isn't anything she would have chosen for herself, but she doesn't hate it either.]

Arena
[While Dahlia herself had no real intention of checking out the new arena that's appeared, the same can't be said of her new electric rodent companion. Pikachu, who's been pretty down all week, perks up and runs up to the newly set up arena, and Dahlia who has decided to just deal with the pokemon for the time being, calls out after him.]

Wait, Pikachu, don't -

[But to her surprise, it's not actually a trap like she thought it might be. She still doesn't trust that M doesn't have any tricks up her sleeve for this Easter celebration, but this seems... harmless (?)]

Wall Flower Corner
[Taking a break from the actual party with a plate of food in her hands, while Pikachu and Buizel are "dancing." She's speaking to nobody in particular when she grumbles.]

This music is terrible.

[Come interrupt with conversation, an invitation to dance (??), or just save her from the pokemon she's somehow wound up having to look after.]

Eh? Is this one of Eliza's?

[Or well... it might not be given the surprised look Slinky is giving the yellow rodent.]

[Pikachu headtilts, tugging on the hem of Dahlia's dress and pointing at Slinky. Pikachu, it's rude to point.]

Ah, no.... I found PIkachu here in one of the locked rooms upstairs along with a few others. This one doesn't seem to like being inside its ... pokeball? ...very much.

[With an impatient "pikapika!" the Pikachu will just curiously go over to Slinky to see if Slinky can be befriended.]

Oh.... so there have been people from Eliza's world taken here too?

[That's... depressing. Slinky grunts out a few "Tepig"'s and seems not outright reject friendship at least. Gonna have to bond with Ms. Grumpy Pig a bit before declarations of friendship are gonna be a thing buddy pal.]

So how many more did you find?

[Pikachu is persistent about making friends at least!]

The trainer had six with them in total. I let a few of them out of their balls because it seemed the party might do them good. [By which she means Pikachu was pushing for it. She points them all out for Recette.]

That's Gible by the food, Buizel on the dance floor...and Staraptor is up there. I thought Infernape and Torterra might be too disruptive for this because they're both larger.

Oh wow... me and Zack are still trying to get all of Eliza's! He must have either been super lucky with the shop or gatcha, or like, lived a really long time.

[It's like, Week Four and between the two of them they haven't managed to get all the pokemon back yet.]

I mean, that's the places we got Eliza's pokemon from, so it was probably the same?

[hawthorned]

[Huh.] I hadn't thought about that, but you're probably right. They must've really been persistent....

[And also kinda lucky not to have gotten murdered early on. But she'll refrain from saying that. They're interrupted by a loud "PIKA!!" though, and Dahlia glances down at the two pokemon. Pikachu runs across to one side of the stadium, and eagerly waits for other peopple to get into position already.]

[Slinky's run into position as well and with a few loud "Tepig pig!"'s presumably gets in some prebattle smack talk.]

Oh! I think this is the pokemon battle thing. Eliza said one might cheer Slinky up!

[Meanwhile Pikachu's little "Pipipi-pikachu!"s are probably all encouraging. He is apparently too pure for smack talk.]

Right. [Assuming this is after the fiasco with Zack, Gible and Crown, Dahlia is actually vaguely familiar with this! Not that she has a problem with Pikachu specifically, but the way it seemed to quiet Gible down, she's not opposed to these creatures beating each other up, even if she thinks it's a little weird.]

...I haven't battled with Pikachu before, but if it'll help Slinky...

[Dahlia seems to be a super nice person! Recette goes over to the end of the arena that Slinky is waiting on.]

Okay, we're ready when you are!

[hawthorned]

[Dahlia takes the opposite side next to PIkachu. Honestly, Pikachu looks more ready and confident about this than she does.]

Then let's begin.

[With a confident "Pika!" Pikachu dashes towards the center of the arena towards Slinky. ....What moves does Pikachu even have? Well Dahlia sure as hell doesn't know what they're named exactly.]

...Try giving it a shock.

[...That sure sounded way more like advice than a battle strategy, Dahlia. But careful Slinky, that's electricity starting to spark around Pikachu's cheeks!]

Oh um...! Slinky do the fire thing! A-and don't get too close!

[Slinky'll give Recette a 'really?' look before rolling her eyes and dashing forward to try and shoot embers at Pikachu from a distance.]

[As Slinky starts spreading fire across the stadium, Pikachu stops dead in his tracks and looks over his shoulder for some kind of instruction from Dahlia. Pikachu don't look to Dahlia for your battle cues here.]

Can't you dodge that?

[Dahlia, this is Not Allowed in the actual pokemon games, but apparently being from the anime means Pikachu thinks this is a perfectly legit strategy. With a nod, Pikachu jumps high above the embers, and prepares to launch a thunderbolt.]

Wall flowers!

No shit, Sherlock...

[Here comes grumpy ol' Zack and his deerling, stumbling past... Until Crown starts making pokemon noises at Pikachu and Buizel.]

[... Those must be pokemon. They look too weird to be anything else. Zack stares at them for a second before turning to Dahlia.]

Woah, where did you find those two?

[hawthorned]

[Seeing Crown, both PIkachu and Buizel stop trying to dance to Jpop and immediately start chattering.]

...Six, actually. I think one of the ghosts here used to be a trainer. I found their team, along with a trophy. Whoever they were, they must've been strong.

Oh... So Eliza's not the only Pokemon trainer here...

[Er, dead Pokemon trainers, really. Crown's gonna mingle with these two Pokemon here for a bit.]

A whole team of Pokemon... I wonder how long it's been since they've last been out?

...I'd hope it hasn't been a thousand years, but I couldn't tell....

[There's a loud sound though as one of the snack tables comes crashing down. A very very pleased Gible starts nomming away at the cookies. Dahlia just sighs.]

I should probably put that one back in its ball.

What the-?

[HOLY SMOKES IS THAT FREE FOOD BEING DUMPED ON THE FLOOR?]

[Crown runs off to join in Gible's feast. Sorry, guys.]

Hey! Wait, Crown! Come back here!

[Zack chases after the little deer!]

[SHE IS JUST GOING TO SIGH AGAIN.

Buizel is running after Crown to make a beeline for the snacks, but PIkachu ... actually gives Dahlia kind of a sympathetic glance before running after the Gible. Dahlia brings up the rear of the group, Gible's pokeball in hand.]

...What a mess.

AND THE MAN IN THE BACK SAID EVERYONE ATTACK

[Zack is going to try getting his deer away from the food.]

Hey, come on! Leave some of that for the rest of us, will ya?!

[Crown's gonna cheerfully ignore him for now. Zack leans in to try and pick his pokemon up...]

[Excuse you, Zack. Gible and Crown were going to have all the snacks okay and they don't need you to interupt that. As Zack tries to grab Crown, Gible decides this is uncalled for sooooo, enjoy that land shark on your hand there, Zack.]

Gible, no!

[This is quite possibly the worst day Dahlia's had in Town A so far.]

AAAAAAAAHHHHH!

[HOLY FUCK THERE IS A SHARK BITING HIS HEAD.]

[Zack screams and cusses at the top of his lungs and starts flailing about, knocking into various people and snack tables.]

[Crown looks up from his snack and blankly stares at the commotion.]

[Meanwhile, there is now a piece of floating food just waving around in the air. That's a thing.]

[Oh. Hello floaty food.]

[Crown wants to eat this food.]

[Nevermind his current "trainer" has a gibile biting his head, Crown is focused on the food.]

[Oh god, things were already bad enough with Gible actng out and Zack flailing everywhere and now a ghost has joined the party.]

Miss Eliza??
[But ok, focus girl. Gible's pokeball in hand, she tries to make the pokemon return, missing the first time because Zack's running around like a chicken without a head. But she does get Gible to return to the pokeball soon-ish, and breathes out a sigh of relief. She realizes that all of the pokemon (except Crown) have just been staring at this the entire time.]

.....Zack, are you alright?
