Monday-Sunday, Week 4

Today is quiet. Surprisingly so. There's no wake up call for the longest time, and everything seems to be almost scarily quiet. At least, until 12 PM, where the familiar voice of a female whom everyone will recognize as M chimes in.

"Hello, everybody. No need to come to the lobby or anything today for the announcement; this week will be a no murder week. The first reason is due to the Easter holiday. The second reason being because there's something wrong with Fav and this town. Meaning, I'll need you all to help me. You don't want to die because the town fell out of the sky, would you? Anyway, the task is pretty simple: find various colored eggs throughout the town. Easy. Certain eggs give you notes, some give you candy, but what I'm looking for is a body. There are eggs with body parts scattered all over. The eggs are small, but they can contain items that are bigger than itself. If you collect the body parts and reassemble them, this town will be safe. For the time being. If you do succeed, the lobby will become a ballroom on Easter Sunday, and I will provide proper clothes, music, and food for you all. Oh, and I fixed Zack's mess, in the dollhouse. That is all. And don't bother trying to answer back. I won't respond."

Of course, after her words are said and done, everyone who is alive will notice the slight static in some of the buildings, almost unstable. Sometimes you'll even find your hand going through things, occasionally. Even more so if you're in your magical form. Also, to note: apparently the network is down, even though transforming works just fine.

This is the mingle post for week four, which covers Monday (4/10) to Sunday (4/16). This week is a breather week, as Sunday is Easter.

[Who knows. And nope, there's nothing of interested outside the hospital or dollhouse. However, the egg holds a fifty candy slip. If he checks his phone, it automatically is transferred.]

[...What's this? A slip of paper?]

[Too bad Zack still can't read this slip of paper. He's not gonna notice the added candy until later.]

[He crumples up the slip and tosses it over his shoulder.]

Worthless piece of junk...

[The real prize is the doll that had the egg. Again, he heaves it over his shoulder and continues onward to the school. Anything he might notice on the way?]

[Nope, you're free to carry on.]

[Just checking.]

[Zack wanders into the school and makes a beeline to the nearest classroom. He sets the doll in a chair and begins searching for a notebook and pencil. Is he gonna find those, or maybe more eggs?]

[There is definitely a notebook and pencil in the school! There might be more eggs around, but you'll have to be a little more specific about where he's looking.]

[He's looking in the student's desks. Where else would you put a notebook and pencil?]

[In the teacher's desk or perhaps the cupboards, maybe? But no, no eggs here.]

[Whelp, looks like he's done here. Time to take the doll, the notebook, and the pencil back to the inn.]

[When he gets there, he sets the doll near the door to Eliza's room and tries the door.]

[The door opens; looks like Fav hasn't cared to bother with locking the dead's rooms.]

[Oh, good.]

[He carefully sets the doll on the bed, placing the notebook on her lap and the pencil in her hand.]

[If there isn't a clock in her room, he'll look out the window. What time is it?]

[No clock, but it looks like the sun is probably setting at this point.]

[Perfect timing... He's gonna wait on the bed for a few minutes...]

[Then he musters the courage to speak to the doll.]

... Eliza? Are you here?

I brought you a doll.

[Zack really hopes this idea works.]

[The doll itself moves its head to look up at Zack before it raises a hand upwards as a way of supposedly greeting it.]

It... It worked!

[He grins, for once!] It fucking worked!

[He calms down after a few moments of joy.]

Okay, so you can hold that pencil in your hand okay? Shake your head if you can't.

[The doll shakes its head.]

... Fuck. So much for that idea.

[He takes the notebook and pencil away from the doll and sets it aside.]

It's not like I can read anyway... You can nod and shake your head right?

[The doll nods and then floats up in order to wrap its arms around Zack's, if it's allowed to.]

[HELLO FLYING DOLL GIVING HIM A HUG HOW DOES HE DEAL WITH THIS.]

[He'll just freeze for a while before gently nudging her off of him.]

Sorry, I kind of needed to ask you a few things... Like about that marshmallow incident.

Did you see a bunch of floating marshmallows pelt Shizay-whatever in the face?

[It's a doll, but thankfully it manages to somehow steady itself. The doll nods before using its hands to point at its own chest.]

... You did that?

[After a beat, Zack bursts out laughing.]

Aw, man! Thanks! That was just too funny...

[The grin fades to a nostalgic smirk.]

I guess you were at that meeting yesterday too?

[There is yet another nod from the doll before it seems to hold out one hand flat, using the other hand to poke at it. If that doesn't make him figure out what its trying to say it will bring down two fingers around the middle area down and hold the hand near the doll's ear.]

[Zack doesn't get it at first.]

... Are you trying to make the logo from the meeting?

[Next week, he's going to have Eruna come up with a hand gesture as well.]

[There's a headshake, along with the doll pantomiming pulling an imaginary something from its belt and then tapping that imaginary item with its fingers.]

... OH!

[You mean the Pokemon?]

Don't worry, I made sure your Pokemon are in good hands. Slinky didn't take the news too well, though.

[The doll shakes its head but forming a thumbs up with one hand. After that, it tries to tap a hand with a single finger again before the doll tries to spin around before it falls.]
