☆ WEEK FIVE
Magical Girl Raising Project
Monday-Thursday, Week 5

13 REMAIN
Unlike the quiet of last week, the sounds of the occasional static seem to stop; the world around them seems to become more stable and fluid, as if the week prior had never happened. Hands no longer occasionally go through walls or buildings, the eggs are no longer there as well as the body they managed to complete. Just like Cinderella at the chime of midnight, everything goes back to the way it used to be, here in Town A.
Of course "used to be" is a rather loose term, as the tasks are still broken for some reason and nobody seems to appear around Town A anymore. Nevertheless, at around 9 AM in the morning, everyone's phones turn immediately on, regardless of whether they had it off or not at the time, as an announcement is made-
"Since everything is now back to normal thanks to my master, we will continue with the game, pon. There is an announcement to be made that you all would really like to hear, so make sure you all meet in the inn lobby, pon. I'll be waiting."
This is the mingle post for week five, which covers Monday (4/17) to Thursday (4/20). When posting toplevels, please specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations, please notify us in the link given below.

[Parallel universes are interesting to theorize about, but. Maybe not these ones. That's a bit much.]
I can. [...] Before I do, I would like you to give me a brief synopsis of the puzzle in question. Think of it as a screening test to access my information.
no subject
[There's a hum, deep in thought.]
It was on a ship. One of the windows broke and water started pouring out, so Junpei-kun had to get out - the only exit being a red five. There were two suitcases, one red, one blue. The keys had to be found to unlock them and the clue to opening the suitcases was with a coded picture which needed to be decoded. The suitcases contain cards in both red and blue colors.
You use those cards to unlock the door by finding the digital root. Hey, did you know that the digital root of my room is nine?

With the exception of one inconsistency, you've done well at recreating the puzzle. That is more or less what I experienced when I went through it myself. And yes, I am indeed aware.
[An interesting thing to point out for extra credit. But moving on...]
Who is this "Junpei-kun" to you?
[It's obviously relevant to the information he has.]
no subject
["Might" being the key word. There's a hum, deep in thought, before:]
Junpei-kun is many things. My childhood friend. The person closest to me. My fiancé.
[And other things that she isn't going to outright state.]
no subject
[He'll pull a couple of items from his pocket at this point: the photo of an edgelord (of whom he can probably guess the identity of now), the bracelet, and the ring (haha, well). There's one more, but he'll start with these.]
Can you see these? I discovered them within the briefcases in your room, along with the numbered cards.
[...]
As for the inconsistency- the number on the door was a six, not a five.
no subject
[Seriously. Nevertheless, she grins and laughs a little lightly.]
If the number is six, that makes sense. Since my number was six, not five. Ah-- speaking of six, I had a code name before. June. Oh, and that picture is of Junpei-kun.
no subject
Yes, of course. Do forgive me. This is a bit of a disconnect for me personally- typically I am able to both see and hear spiritual beings. I am one myself, after all.
[But that is a discussion best saved for another time. So the edgelord is Junpei, huh? So the kid that he saw in the mirror as well...must have been a memory of Junpei's as he did that same puzzle? Hm.]
It seems that your room was a mixture of yourself and Junpei's experiences then, June. [He's gone ahead and decided to call her that, apparently.] Was there a special significance to the numbers you two were given?
no subject
[Oh, she's interested now. But it's not important at this very moment, so she'll leave it aside for the time being. And yes, the edgelord is Junpei. He looks more edgy than he actually is, though...]
Looks like it. As for a significance, not really. [That's a lie, but she isn't going to say that. At least she's a good actress.]
no subject
Truly? None at all? That comes as a shock to me.
[Not everywhere has organizations structured by numerical values, Szayel. He's not going to stay hung up on it though.]
Ah, I have one last thing that will likely be worth your while. A letter addressed to Junpei. Written by you, I assume.
[He takes out the notebook and opens to the page so June can read it.]
no subject
Really? I don't think it's that shocking.
[The ghost who goes by the code name of June seems to be rather thoughtful in this manner, but she'll leave it alone, as there's much more important things to discuss.]
You're right that this is my handwriting... and that I wrote this. After all, I don't know if this 'me' will be able to meet him again.
no subject
As for the second bit... He gives a curious glance in the direction of June's voice.]
That is an interesting way to phrase it.
[Most people would say, "I don't know if I will be able to meet him again."]
no subject
[She'll answer by raising another question. This is probably going to get into strange territory.]
no subject
But Szayel is never not ready to discuss scientific theories.]
I have. Admittedly, it has not been something I've considered very deeply...until recently.
[There's definitely something there in his hesitation. But he wants to let June continue.]
