Monday-Thursday, Week 5

13 REMAIN

Unlike the quiet of last week, the sounds of the occasional static seem to stop; the world around them seems to become more stable and fluid, as if the week prior had never happened. Hands no longer occasionally go through walls or buildings, the eggs are no longer there as well as the body they managed to complete. Just like Cinderella at the chime of midnight, everything goes back to the way it used to be, here in Town A.

Of course "used to be" is a rather loose term, as the tasks are still broken for some reason and nobody seems to appear around Town A anymore. Nevertheless, at around 9 AM in the morning, everyone's phones turn immediately on, regardless of whether they had it off or not at the time, as an announcement is made-

"Since everything is now back to normal thanks to my master, we will continue with the game, pon. There is an announcement to be made that you all would really like to hear, so make sure you all meet in the inn lobby, pon. I'll be waiting."

As you are all very much aware of by now, this game won't end until we either reach four people, or someone gets the allotted candy, pon. But since I've noticed that nobody really wants to do anything with that, I'll force my hand.

There is a traitor amongst the rest of you still living, pon! This traitor has a win condition that is different from everyone else's in that they have to be the only one alive, pon. Of course, they have rules that prevent them from killing everyone at once, pon.

But if they don't kill someone within the next few days, they'll lose something that's most precious to them.

So that's it from me, pon. Oh, and don't bother asking who it is. They're not allowed to tell, unless they want to suffer that consequence, pon. I'm sure they'll definitely do it, though. Of course, if you want to stop them... you might just have to kill them, pon. Anyway, here are the candy counts for the week:

[Great... He just woke up after getting bit in the head and being supernaturally forced to kiss someone he didn't like the night before. The revealation of there being a traitor in their ranks to screw everyone over was just icing on the cake.]

[He expected life to suck after last week being somewhat decent aside from the world's creepiest build a figure, but this is something else.]

Monday

[Joshua’s finally not being a wallflower and going out and being a productive member of society. Maybe. At the very least he needs to change the wrappings he wears on around his hands and lower arms, so to the hospital he goes to get some bandages. He’ll be grabbing some of those just in case he needs more. While in the hospital, he is wrapping his arms rather meticulously. Anyone who sees him without them will notice his hands are very calloused, but he’s not hiding anything. They’re literally there for support.]

Tuesday-Thursday

[He’s checking out the dojo. With word of a traitor, he needs to work on his swordplay. The wooden swords aren’t quite what he’s used to with the dual knives he has back home, but it’s better than nothing. When there, it’s clear he is rather trained and whatever style he uses, a quick style meant for quick strikes. After all, he did admit last trial that he used to be an assassin, so it really shouldn’t be all too surprising.]

Wednesday-Thursday

[He’s checking out the TV station, but it’s more or less a place he’s really not familiar with. The technology is a little more advanced than he’s used to, but the same can be said of this place in general.

If anything, he’s watching those monitors… just what kind of power do they have? Once again, he’s not surprised by things, or if he is, he’s hiding it well behind a straight face.]

[Oh, hey. Have a Zack staring blankly at the monitors on the screen. Why is he getting Deja Vu here?]

[Don't mind Kaine, he's just stopped in to see what's in here, and walking over to the wooden swords. He'll hang on to one of these just in case.]

Self taught, or did you learn from somebody?

[He hasn't really talked to Joshua much, but he's the front runner for sanest guy here, so why not try and make conversation?]

Monday

[You know what we learned from our past mistakes? Zack can kill irrationally when he is irritated. Guess what we don't want happening again? Zack killing someone irrationally.]

[So after that mess of a party and the announcement, he's just gonna go find some place to brood for a bit that's far away from any potential victims. Going into magical form and perching on top of that new Steel Tower thing might do the trick.]

[Of course, you could stumble upon him while he's sulking.]

Tuesday

[Now that Zack's feeling a little better, he's gonna take Crown for a walk in the park. A confessed serial killer being followed around by a small deer thing paints a rather contrasting picture, but hey. Someone has to take care of it.]

Wendsday

[Zack wanders into the elementary school after following the trail of newspaper clippings. He couldn't read them, but he has a scythe and a deer thing. He should be able to take on a spooky haunted school.]

It would be a good thing if he had someone smart on his side.]

Thursday

[Why is there a clothing store?]

[Why do these clothes look so familiar?!]

[Zack's gonna nose around in here after seeing a tattered,
bloodstained ensemble that would best fit a child on display.]

[Who would sell something like that, and how did they know it existed?!]

[There's a voice of a female with a deeper range, but it's not any of the voices that Zack will recognize.]

[Taiki didn't expect to run into Zack when he came to explore the clothing store - but he expected to see him standing near the bloody clothes even less.]

These clothes... [His voice is a little unsteady as his eyes wander over them, unable to keep himself from speaking aloud.] They're covered in blood, but they look small enough to belong to a kid... Who could do something like that to a child?

[Throughout the week, everyone will notice that Zange is progressively getting more and more exhausted; as if she hasn't been sleeping, or perhaps has overexerted herself. Even though she has bags over her eyes, she tries her best not to allow it to show on her features. Instead, she just smiles it out.]

[Zange is definitely looking for some cute clothes here - especially since this means that she's finally got clothes that aren't just her idol outfits!! Which is great. But the problem with free clothes means that there's one thing she's struggling with:]

Which one do you think looks cute on me? I like the aquamarine one that I had earlier, but don't you think purple fits me better?

[Dojos are a good place to practice combat, hence why Zange's here, practicing her martial arts. Maybe someone wants to come at her? You might get tossed around, though.]

Monday Morning: Clothing Store

[Recette can be found going into the clothing store and trying on various outfits to get Slinky and Dragon's opinion on them. Recette and Dragon tends toward the cuter things while Slinky seems to approve of the more practical choices. Either way she'll wave you over as she tries on the black back jacket that likely does not fit her.

Tuesday: TV Station

[Sure it's cool if her world is there and everyone else's, but do the moniters only show their worlds? Are there monitors showcasing the worlds of those who were in games before this one? Either way, this new area is probably the most suspicious of all, so Recette can be found turning the place upside down with Slinky and Dragon.]

Wednesday: Elementary School

[Recette can be found collecting and reading all the newspaper clippings she finds for most of the day.]

Uuughhh.... that drippy sound is super annoying.

[Later in the day she finally gets annoyed enough to go and look for the source of the dripping noise.]

Thursday

[Recette spends this day relaxing. She finishes up the second ace attorney game, and sulks knowing she can't go do the third, but moves onto dragging out and playing Galaga. Recette giggles when she notices the ship is shaped like Chiaki's hair pin. That's what it was based off she guesses? She'll ask her when she's alive again.]

Pew, pew, pew!

[Recette makes little sound effects to go along with the pixel explosions onscreen.]

Also as for the source... she won't be able to find any.]

Finding Home Club Meeting!! | Thursday

[It's rather late in the week when the notes go out for club meeting, but there have been reasons for it: Eruna wanted to be extra thorough in gathering as much information as possible before having anyone jump to conclusions or start acting out of hand over the new motive Fav handed down.

The note is the same though, stating that the meeting is today with the time and place, and the usual reminder to keep phones turned off or stored somewhere else during the meetings.

Normally she has her board with a list of things to discuss, but today it has one line:

ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING THAT COULD BE HELPFUL!!

Let the meeting commence: everyone is allowed to give info or their thoughts on anything they wish to talk about!]

So, two orders of business, since I wanted to speak about it in person rather than over the phones: first of all. Did anybody bring the profiles from the TV station? I think that might be useful in identifying the twenty-first person.

[Just in case someone recognizes the name, or perhaps would recognize the face, even if they didn't know the name...]

And about the keys, can I have a raise of hands to see who found one and tell me which one you found, exactly?

[In the clothing store, Moeka has found an outfit. It's not one she recognizes, exactly, but something about it draws her to it anyway. Trying it on, she peers into the mirror.]

Hmm, I don't know...

Thursday

[If you're in the park this afternoon you might come across Moeka sitting on a bench. She's got a sheaf of stationery from the inn and she seems to be writing something on it. Bother her?]

[Meanwhile Dahlia is staring at this this outfit with an expression that can only be called distaste, but after a moment she picks it off the rack. Honestly, she has no clue what that woman's clothes are doing here, but she can think of no better place for it than the garbage.

As she prepares to leave, she has one other outfit in her arms to go with the suit. Under ordinary circumstances, she'd have left without a word, but Moeka is there, and it seems odd not o say a word. After all, it's not as though they're on hostile terms.]

Monday - Hotel Roof

[ After reading One's letter, Miach knows there is one thing she needs to do. So in the early morning she comes up to the hotel roof. Talking to the dead.... not something she ever thought she'd try doing, but there's a first for everything.

With her, Miach has a notebook and a pen, in case that is of some use to One. ]

One? Are you around? I'm not busy, so I'll just spend the morning here and see.

[ She also writes Are you here? - Miach onto the notebook and lays it open with the pencil next to it, in case that works. ]

Tuesday - Morgue
[ If you're walking into the morgue today, you will find Miach laying on.... one of the autopsy tables, engrossed in the reading of some basic anatomy guidebook. After the vandalism that occurred to Renji's drawer last week, she seems to have decided to keep watch around here a bit. ]

Wednesday - Dojo
[ Those are some nice bow and arrows... Miach is giving them some serious contemplation. She's never shot any, but maybe she should give it a try....? ]

All Week
[ Miach is pretty much always either in the north apartment buildings or in the park, so catch her at either of those places! Or anywhere else. ]
