With the beloved "leader" of the meetings dead, things seem a lot more grim than usual. But that doesn't show in the trial's background music, a rather cheery song that doesn't match the trial at all whatsoever. Which isn't exactly new, considering who's running the trial, but it is definitely a dishonor to the one that's died. Nevertheless, the show must go on.

"This is the trial for Eruna Ichinomiya, also known as Lady Zapper, pon," Fav notes, the same as always. Of course, there's a little difference in the trial area today. You can hear the slight sounds of static and even see the place glitch a bit every now and again. But what's more important than that is the fact that there seems to be a tree right behind the fountain now. A really, really huge tree. That wasn't there before. Someone must have redecorated.

Not that it changes much.

I... I was upset, I guess. Will all these killings going on, well, a Bracer is supposed to stop that. A Bracer is supposed to protect the citizens. If their lives are in danger, we were supposed to do what we can to protect them, yet... I've done nothing of that sort here.

I kind of tried to burn my costume once for the same reason. You should hang on to stuff like that. Mad or not, you never know when you might need it again.
