☆ WEEK FIVE ( TRIAL - DAY ONE )
Trial Day #1
Saturday, Week 5

Victim
Suspects
With the beloved "leader" of the meetings dead, things seem a lot more grim than usual. But that doesn't show in the trial's background music, a rather cheery song that doesn't match the trial at all whatsoever. Which isn't exactly new, considering who's running the trial, but it is definitely a dishonor to the one that's died. Nevertheless, the show must go on.
"This is the trial for Eruna Ichinomiya, also known as Lady Zapper, pon," Fav notes, the same as always. Of course, there's a little difference in the trial area today. You can hear the slight sounds of static and even see the place glitch a bit every now and again. But what's more important than that is the fact that there seems to be a tree right behind the fountain now. A really, really huge tree. That wasn't there before. Someone must have redecorated.
Not that it changes much.
12 REMAIN
AUTOPSY REPORT & BODY INVESTIGATION
Cause of Death: Blood loss due to a stab wound precisely where the heart is.
Body Discovery: Found at around 10:00 AM.
Time of Death: Estimated at around 5:15 AM, Friday
Condition of Body: One stab wound to the heart. One hand looks like a finger gun shape. Blood pooling from her wound.
Condition of Scene: Found in one of the rooms at the back of the karaoke lounge. Lots of blood pooling around the area Eruna was found in. Wall opposite of the body has two dent marks at around five and a half feet and nearly six feet.
If anybody wishes to investigate the body, Fav's brought it down in pristine condition, along with pictures of the crime scene as it was during the discovery. How convenient.
ALIBIS
On the phones of the suspects a new button reading alibis is shown, along with an option to give your alibi, whether it's verbal or by text.
Zange-chan!
I never ran into anybody on both days, but I'll give my account regardless. Since I didn't do it. On Thursday, I woke up, ate breakfast at the restaurant, then I went to the dojo to do some training. I grabbed two of the wooden swords there on that day, since I was trying to practice a bit of kendo. Admittedly, I'm not too good at it, though.
I practiced until around noon, which I headed back to the inn lobby and ate lunch.
Afterwards, I pretty much wandered around aimlessly and went back to the inn to take a bath at the springs and then went to sleep... probably around eight or so. I was asleep until the announcement and didn't leave my room until I found out I was a suspect. I wasn't able to change properly, so I didn't get to shower until after my room was searched, so I changed clothes then.
[Like right now, she's not wearing her usual nun outfit-- she's wearing another dress, this time an aquamarine one with boots. She still has the cross in her hair, but it's tied up into a ponytail.]

Joshua
Well, my account doesn't exactly change from last time I was questioned for this. I was reading the night before and I was asleep when the crime occurred. It's not like I really do much else here since I'm not exactly the most sociable of this bunch.
Miach
After the Finding Home Club meeting, I went back to my apartment to feed Foucault and read. I slept between 10 and 11, I didn't check the time. There are no witnesses for my sleep, of course, because I live alone.
I got up around 9am and ate breakfast in my apartment. I didn't leave until I observed groups of you walking towards the hospital and got curious about that. On the way, I ran into Dahlia following the bloody tracks, so I went with her. We then discovered the body together. Szayelaporro came in soon after and we examined the crime scene together.
Needless to say, it's not me this time as well. If you think I'd sell myself out to work with people like M, you're gravely mistaken.
Edna
...what? Me?
[If you so much as look like you want to implicate her, she'll scowl. Enough to make the small girl look dangerous. Like she might snap you in half. But she answers coolly enough as long as you don't press her.]
I was doing the things I usually do-- checking the garden, drawing... I ate at the restaurant. Nothing special.
EVIDENCE
There is now a table where characters may leave their evidence, along with any notes where they found it, etcetera. This includes room searches. Feel free to utilize this top level to reinvestigate any pieces of evidence that was found by the other characters.

Eruna's Magical Phone -- Was discovered on Eruna's body, was turned on and had no evidence of private messages.
Dagger -- This was found covered in blood next to Eruna at the crime scene. The dagger was used to stab Eruna in the heart. No fingerprints were found.
Dents on the wall x2 -- As described in the autopsy the dents were on the wall opposite Eruna's body, at 5'6 and 6' off the floor respectively. No traces of gunpowder or blood were seen, no bullets were embedded in the wall. Upon closer examination, it appeared that the debts, despite being bullet shaped were not caused by physical bullets.

We went into Zange's room after that, and the first thing we found was this folded up paper with japanese written on it...
Then there was this notebook written in this weird alien language... [Called Latin.]
We saw the swords there, and these weird paper things all over the bathroom door. I think Zange called them makeshift talismans or something. Said she uses baths for purification or something to keep the spirits out... Don't get why she had to tape the door shut just to keep the bathroom clean.
[Anything he missed, Recette?]

To start with the most mundane, her room at the inn remains relatively unused, which makes sense considering she moved out of it rather quickly. The bathroom looks like it may have received some use, as her bathtub at the apartment is still broken. Nothing particularly groundbreaking to be discovered there.
Her apartment is likewise not much different since it was last searched for a trial. Her current interest in regards to book subjects seems to be anatomy. I cannot say I am surprised about that since she and I have examined bodies in the past and she made a note to me that she was not well-versed in anatomy at the time of our arrival. The rest of her apartment is mostly as mundane as her inn room- additional clothing lying around, everyday medicine in the bathroom, food in the kitchen, her pet lizard in the adjoining apartment. [He still finds it weird that she somehow got a live animal...] She had a few trinkets from what I assume came from the gachapon store in her dresser- a CD and a talisman.
I would like to make a special note of what I found on her desk, however- a set of notes for studying Japanese. As I recall, such notes were in someone else's room during a previous trial. [One's, if he recalls.] Is there any particular reason why you took them for yourself, Miach?
[Just kind of throwing that out there. For all he knows multiple people could be studying Japanese, but that handwriting looked familiar.]
And with that, I will conclude my findings.

And I checked Joshua's room too. There was a pin in the bathroom trash-- but not much else. It was very clean. Oh-- well. I guess he also had bandages in his room as well, if that counts for anything.
[...Seraphina, think about the levels of importance when you're reporting things.]

And on another table, there are bright red envelopes that have the names of the characters that have died on them. Some might be empty, some might not be.

SUMMARY AND FOOT/SHOE CHECK
Soon after the murder, her killer walked to the hospital as there were bloody footprints heading in that direction. The footprints grew fainter as they got closer to the hospital, likely suggesting the killer wasn't bleeding profusely after the murder. However, it is possible that they are injured somewhere as it appears they took some antibiotic ointment and bandages from the med supply room there. Miss Recette found a used tube of ointment just outside the Sakura Inn on Friday morning, which seems to suggest the killer is someone who lives at the Inn. If that logic is to be believed, that would rule out Miss Miach as the killer as she lives at the apartments... though, of course, if there's reason to believe otherwise, please speak up.
As for other clues about who the killer may be -- the footprints seem to roughly be the size of an average females, and they were probably wearing heeled-boots, at the time. Additionally, given the relatively clean method of killing, it's probable that they have some experience with weapons like daggers.
I suppose a good place to start is to ask all the suspects to show us their feet to compare sizes as well as their shoes in both transformed and untransformed states.

VOTING ANNOUNCEMENT

[If Joshua had tried to hide it, and we figured out he was the traitor, Zack could have risked execution and killed him on the spot. However, Josh isn't such a horrible person, is he?]
[Zack has to ask. He has to.]
Fav... Would it be okay if I execute the culprit myself?
