With the beloved "leader" of the meetings dead, things seem a lot more grim than usual. But that doesn't show in the trial's background music, a rather cheery song that doesn't match the trial at all whatsoever. Which isn't exactly new, considering who's running the trial, but it is definitely a dishonor to the one that's died. Nevertheless, the show must go on.

"This is the trial for Eruna Ichinomiya, also known as Lady Zapper, pon," Fav notes, the same as always. Of course, there's a little difference in the trial area today. You can hear the slight sounds of static and even see the place glitch a bit every now and again. But what's more important than that is the fact that there seems to be a tree right behind the fountain now. A really, really huge tree. That wasn't there before. Someone must have redecorated.

Not that it changes much.

I suppose that might suggest also that her attacker was taller than her, considering the height of the dents

The only one out of us who is significantly taller than Eruna is Joshua.

Are you sure that has anything to do with this? Maybe she was cornered and out of panic shot at her attacker haphazardly?

I'm still confused by what happened at the police station. Do the burn marks there and Miss Eruna's hair tie mean that she and her killer had their initial confrontation there?

Indeed, it is best to not get hung up on the exact height of those bullets. Perhaps instead we should consider the potential amount of bullets she managed to fire.

It is possible, considering her ribbon was found there. Perhaps it began there, and she was chased to the karaoke bar. [...] Or perhaps she chased someone, we cannot say for sure of course.

That could very well be the case. Her hair tie was found there, right? Unless that was all meant to be a set up...

If it was a set up, what do you think caused the burn marks?

It's really hard to say. Is anyone able to use fire arts? That would be the only explanation, really.

There was a fire spell available to buy at one point, wasn't there? Though I don't see it on anyone's profile...

Having confronted a bunch of people with guns, this is exactly what happens with most people. It takes a special kind of person to keep their composure in that situation. Not sure if Eruna was the type.
