Monday-Sunday, Week 4

Today is quiet. Surprisingly so. There's no wake up call for the longest time, and everything seems to be almost scarily quiet. At least, until 12 PM, where the familiar voice of a female whom everyone will recognize as M chimes in.

"Hello, everybody. No need to come to the lobby or anything today for the announcement; this week will be a no murder week. The first reason is due to the Easter holiday. The second reason being because there's something wrong with Fav and this town. Meaning, I'll need you all to help me. You don't want to die because the town fell out of the sky, would you? Anyway, the task is pretty simple: find various colored eggs throughout the town. Easy. Certain eggs give you notes, some give you candy, but what I'm looking for is a body. There are eggs with body parts scattered all over. The eggs are small, but they can contain items that are bigger than itself. If you collect the body parts and reassemble them, this town will be safe. For the time being. If you do succeed, the lobby will become a ballroom on Easter Sunday, and I will provide proper clothes, music, and food for you all. Oh, and I fixed Zack's mess, in the dollhouse. That is all. And don't bother trying to answer back. I won't respond."

Of course, after her words are said and done, everyone who is alive will notice the slight static in some of the buildings, almost unstable. Sometimes you'll even find your hand going through things, occasionally. Even more so if you're in your magical form. Also, to note: apparently the network is down, even though transforming works just fine.

This is the mingle post for week four, which covers Monday (4/10) to Sunday (4/16). This week is a breather week, as Sunday is Easter.

[There seems to be the sound of something sizzling behind the counter... but it's just an egg. A plastic one.]

[She frowns at the egg because it shouldn't be making sounds like that. But after kinda glaring/examining the egg visually for a couple of seconds, she'll go ahead and pick it up to figure out what's inside.]

[It likes to pretend it's a real egg. Such are the woes of a magical egg. What falls out are two things - an arm and a key, labeled 28.]

She knew random body parts were all technically fair game, but there's a difference between being mentally prepared and having to actually deal with a severed body part. With a bit of a yelp, she backs the fuck away from the arm because despite what M said about no murder, she really wouldn't put it past M to do creepy shit with the arm. She spots the key but will just.. leave it next to the arm until she's certain the arm isn't going to do more than be a severed arm.

Whose arm is it anyway? Is it a child's? An adults? Anything you can possibly guess about the poor person this arm belonged to?]

[It's the arm of someone closer to an adult, but it's difficult to tell whether it's an actual adult arm or the arm of potentially a teenager. It seems to be a rather skinny arm, but more importantly...

It's plastic.]

[Plastic, huh.... that's surprisingly tame for M, which is kinda throwing Dahlia off a little. She doesn't think she saw any plastic dolls in the dollhouse when she was there over the weekend, so where did this one even come fom?

She'll muse about this to herself as she tentatively picks up the key. ... As an afterthought, she'll also prod the arm with a menu from the counter just to double ensure no creepy shit. Assuming nothing happens, she'll pick the arm up as well. As M already put her off wanting to eat with the arm shenanigans she'll head back over to the Sakura Inn to see if she can open up room 28.]

[Who knows. Anyway, it's just a plastic arm. It's not gonna kill you. Probably, anyway. Nevertheless, the door for room 28 does unlock.

[She has some misgivings about this considering what the last mystery hell room was like, but yes. Entering! What's going on with Room 28?]

[It seems... rather normal for once, actually! The first things she'll notice is that the bed is a bit of a mess, and that on the table, there seems to be several black cases and a trophy.]

[SHE KNOWS BETTER THAN TO BE LULLED INTO A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY BY THE APPEARANCE OF NORMALCY.

Seeing as she thinks the room is going to do weird things if she touches the obvious things to inspect, she'll check out the bed first to see if there's anything there.]

[It almost looks like there's nothing on the bed... but if she checks under the sheets, there's one red and white ball with an electric mark on it, along with five others.

The five others don't have marks. Only the one.]

[Well howdy there, mysterious balls. Dahlia thinks she knows what these are though, thanks to Eliza's general presence and the arcade, so that's a little less disorienting than the last time! She picks up the one with the electric mark, but doesn't throw it just yet. Instead she'll bring that one over to the table.

She sets the pokeball down and will first take a look at that trophy. Any names on it or anything else to note?]

[There's no name on the trophy. Because the anime is pretty dumb and didn't do that, so it's just a plain trophy with no words on it.]

[She'll raise an eyebrow at the nameles trophy, but alight she'll put the dumb tophy aside to finally look at one of the black cases. How many of them are there and is there anything to note about them before she tries to open one?]

[There's four of them. They seem to be just plain black cases.]

[Alrighty, then she's going to try and open the one closest to her. Can she?]

[They're not locked, no. Inside seems to be some sort of pins, or something like that.]

[... Huh. These she does not recognize, but they're kind of pretty looking (?). If she opens up all the cases, do they all have the same thing inside them?]

[They're different kinds of pins in each case, but essentially, yes.]

[Alrighty, she'll put the black cases back on the table the way she found them. Is there anything else about the room that's worthy of note/inspection before she finally gets with the program and throws a pokeball? If she's good to go, she'll go ahead and try to open the one with the lightning on it! ...She's not sure what to expect here.]

[There's a closet and bathroom -- the closet contains caps but inside the ball is an...

[.....and then it dawns on her that this thing proooobably doesn't realize whoever owned it is now dead. She doesn't really know how sentient pokemon are, but uh... awkward. M why do you create these situations!! Luckily if there's a fuss she can always put it back in the pokeball right/ Riiiiight?]

[Say hello to Pikachu, although he's definitely confused as to why he was in a Pokeball to begin with. A conundrum. No matter. He's here now, he supposes.
