Monday-Sunday, Week 4

Today is quiet. Surprisingly so. There's no wake up call for the longest time, and everything seems to be almost scarily quiet. At least, until 12 PM, where the familiar voice of a female whom everyone will recognize as M chimes in.

"Hello, everybody. No need to come to the lobby or anything today for the announcement; this week will be a no murder week. The first reason is due to the Easter holiday. The second reason being because there's something wrong with Fav and this town. Meaning, I'll need you all to help me. You don't want to die because the town fell out of the sky, would you? Anyway, the task is pretty simple: find various colored eggs throughout the town. Easy. Certain eggs give you notes, some give you candy, but what I'm looking for is a body. There are eggs with body parts scattered all over. The eggs are small, but they can contain items that are bigger than itself. If you collect the body parts and reassemble them, this town will be safe. For the time being. If you do succeed, the lobby will become a ballroom on Easter Sunday, and I will provide proper clothes, music, and food for you all. Oh, and I fixed Zack's mess, in the dollhouse. That is all. And don't bother trying to answer back. I won't respond."

Of course, after her words are said and done, everyone who is alive will notice the slight static in some of the buildings, almost unstable. Sometimes you'll even find your hand going through things, occasionally. Even more so if you're in your magical form. Also, to note: apparently the network is down, even though transforming works just fine.

Give or take, really... I mean, I lost count after a while, but there's something that keeps track of the years for me.

Even if it was, it doesn't change anything. I'm dead and I'm probably not going to see Taichi again. I don't really have much hope in regards to that.

Well... you don't have to be lonely anymore! We'll take you out of the room and introduce you to everyone. Except Fav. He's a meanie.

I don't really care about things like that. Lonely or not, it doesn't change things.

Well, I' m still befriending you. C'mon guys, we should probably go introduce Inaba to everyone else. It might be better to look at the documents and that other thing with everyone there.

[Recette's gonna walk back to the FH club meet if no one stops her.]

This is Inaba Himiko, oh but uh- just call her Inaba! She's what popped up when we opened up an AI.exe thing and we learned a lot of things like she's been there a 1000 years since she was last opened which is like super sad and she's bound by ghost rules, oh but we also learned that there is a way to bring back everyone who died- and I mean everyone everyone! Even the people before us!- but she can't tell us how 'cause of these rules. Oh yeah those gold keys are like super duper important! There's also documents and student ids on this thing so I thought we should bring her back to the rest of you so that we can look at everything togeather, and here we are!

[That sounds so anticlimatic. However...] A wild Hajime found~!

[The snack that had been bouncing on letters abruptly goes flying and hits the far wall.]

[Crown suddenly bounds from Zack's arms and chases after it!]

[Well looks like someone isn't too pleased about this new addition to the group....

She notes it and will ask Himeko directly:]

How come you two don't get along?

[For once, Zack's kind of proud to be part of this messed up search party. Even though he had to kind of carry Crown out of the other room. Crown isn't sure he likes being held like a cat.]

Guess what? The laptop is sort of haunted. I think.

I look pretty much exactly the same on the screen that I do in real life.

[Taiki will be surprised and blink a bit, but then he smiles.]

So you're one of the ghosts as well, but not from our group... It's nice to meet you, Himeko!

[The fact that she's an AI immediately sparks his interest, but he's pretty sure the chances of her knowing anything about the Digital World are still pretty low, so he lets it be. At this point he's come to terms with that ship having sailed, so to speak.]

If you don't mind my asking, are you bound to that laptop, or are you just using it to communicate with us?

I think the correct term is asshole, Recette.

[Zack, stop corrupting the innocent!]

But yeah, I think that's a good idea. The meeting room is literally next door.
