☆ WEEK FIVE
Magical Girl Raising Project
Monday-Thursday, Week 5

13 REMAIN
Unlike the quiet of last week, the sounds of the occasional static seem to stop; the world around them seems to become more stable and fluid, as if the week prior had never happened. Hands no longer occasionally go through walls or buildings, the eggs are no longer there as well as the body they managed to complete. Just like Cinderella at the chime of midnight, everything goes back to the way it used to be, here in Town A.
Of course "used to be" is a rather loose term, as the tasks are still broken for some reason and nobody seems to appear around Town A anymore. Nevertheless, at around 9 AM in the morning, everyone's phones turn immediately on, regardless of whether they had it off or not at the time, as an announcement is made-
"Since everything is now back to normal thanks to my master, we will continue with the game, pon. There is an announcement to be made that you all would really like to hear, so make sure you all meet in the inn lobby, pon. I'll be waiting."
This is the mingle post for week five, which covers Monday (4/17) to Thursday (4/20). When posting toplevels, please specify the time and location. If you plan on having any private conversations, please notify us in the link given below.

Unless you have some sort of murder fetish.

Lady, you have no idea...
[Zack checks the network since miss ghostie isn't being too helpful... Oh? Something interesting just popped up!]
[Zack takes a moment to reply before looking up to address the ghost.]
Hey, lady? I think your old room tried to drown someone.
no subject
[She says that so offhandedly it's as if she doesn't really care. And honestly? She really doesn't.]
... Drown someone? Well, at least it was 'tried', which means that they didn't actually drown in the end.
no subject
[He doesn't do anything weird to the bodies, at least.]
But yeah, someone managed to get in there with a glowing key, but then the door shut on him and the room started flooding, so...
I think he had to solve some kinda puzzle to unlock the door or something.
[Sorry if he's a bit fuzzy on the details. He was more focused on the floating snacks than what Sayzel actually said.]
no subject
[But a change in the subject is good.] I see... I think I know that puzzle. I solved it once, a long time ago.
no subject
[Weird. Must be from her world.]
What's it doing here?
[More updates from the network. There seems to be an interesting turn of events. Zack replies real quick before the addressing the ghost.]
Oh, well you can tell the guy who was in there that. He said he wants to come over and say hi.
no subject
Is she still here?
no subject
[That's her response.]
no subject
[Should have warned you this was a sassy ghost.]
no subject
Oh, aren't you charming.
[No, really. He enjoyed that. He'll get down to business right away though.]
So you resided in Room 27, correct? I assume Zack has made you aware of the state of it. Did you set it up that way?
no subject
[There's definitely amusement in her voice, to say the least.]
I did, he told me about it, and no. I didn't set it up that way. But the puzzle is probably something from my memories, if my theory is correct.
no subject
[He's all for making it difficult to get to ones things, but that was completely convoluted and over the top.
But hm.]
So the room manifested an event from your memories...that is an interesting take on it. [And one worth considering for the other rooms.] I have to wonder just what sort of event you got yourself wrapped up in if you had to go through that same puzzle.
no subject
[You really don't want to hear a story about at least a thousand years worth of parallel universes. You don't. Trust her.]
But could you tell me what exactly you found?
no subject
[Parallel universes are interesting to theorize about, but. Maybe not these ones. That's a bit much.]
I can. [...] Before I do, I would like you to give me a brief synopsis of the puzzle in question. Think of it as a screening test to access my information.
no subject
[There's a hum, deep in thought.]
It was on a ship. One of the windows broke and water started pouring out, so Junpei-kun had to get out - the only exit being a red five. There were two suitcases, one red, one blue. The keys had to be found to unlock them and the clue to opening the suitcases was with a coded picture which needed to be decoded. The suitcases contain cards in both red and blue colors.
You use those cards to unlock the door by finding the digital root. Hey, did you know that the digital root of my room is nine?
no subject
With the exception of one inconsistency, you've done well at recreating the puzzle. That is more or less what I experienced when I went through it myself. And yes, I am indeed aware.
[An interesting thing to point out for extra credit. But moving on...]
Who is this "Junpei-kun" to you?
[It's obviously relevant to the information he has.]
no subject
["Might" being the key word. There's a hum, deep in thought, before:]
Junpei-kun is many things. My childhood friend. The person closest to me. My fiancé.
[And other things that she isn't going to outright state.]
