With the beloved "leader" of the meetings dead, things seem a lot more grim than usual. But that doesn't show in the trial's background music, a rather cheery song that doesn't match the trial at all whatsoever. Which isn't exactly new, considering who's running the trial, but it is definitely a dishonor to the one that's died. Nevertheless, the show must go on.

"This is the trial for Eruna Ichinomiya, also known as Lady Zapper, pon," Fav notes, the same as always. Of course, there's a little difference in the trial area today. You can hear the slight sounds of static and even see the place glitch a bit every now and again. But what's more important than that is the fact that there seems to be a tree right behind the fountain now. A really, really huge tree. That wasn't there before. Someone must have redecorated.

Not that it changes much.

I checked the police station. There were some burn marks just outside. There were also some burnt bandages and a ribbon there.

And I checked Joshua's room too. There was a pin in the bathroom trash-- but not much else. It was very clean. Oh-- well. I guess he also had bandages in his room as well, if that counts for anything.

It looks that way. But someone who knew her better could probably verify it better.

I imagine hearing I have bandages in my room will make people question things, so I suppose I should clear that up. I use bandages to wrap my wrists and upper arms to keep them supported. I've done so since I was young and it's a habit I still keep up.

And if those bandages got bloody, you'd need to destroy that evidence.

That on its own means nothing, of course.

If that were the case, that would be true. No one wants to walk around with such critical evidence on them.

Hmm... well there were burns around the Police Station as well, so it's more likely that the bandages were a victim of the attack, I'd think. Like if you shot fire out of your hand, your wrist bandages might get caught in the flame... kind of like that.

[She's used to weird magic attacks, so this is her example.]

It's true. You've worn them that way the whole time you've been here, have you not?

I have. They've always been on me. I imagine the bandages at the scene could implicate me and that's likely why I'm a suspect.

[She holds out the Bracer pin she found in his trash.]

[He looks at the pin and looks away.]

It's something that indicates a job I used to have.

Quite the opposite. It was a job I loved doing with people I enjoyed being with.

Forgive me for asking, Joshua, but i don't recall seeing any bandages in your trash the last time you had your room searched.

I hadn't changed them at the time. It was something I just did recently after realizing the ones I had weren't holding up so well anymore.

Yeah... Here's a tip for if you're not killed tomorrow: Take off your bandages before you go to sleep and put on some new ones in the morning.

How long do you go before you typically need to change them?

Back home, it's definitely more often. However, without the supplies until a couple of weeks ago, I didn't think about it until recently when I realized what I was wearing was getting rather dirty and they were falling apart.
