20 REMAIN...?

It's been a rather rough couple of days. Of course it has, given the fact that Fav made the announcement that he'd be cutting the number down to four, and the fact that killing someone would actually make people get candy a lot faster than normal. But nobody is irrational enough to take Fav up on his rather generous offer, right? After all, it's murder!

Nevertheless, the town seems rather quiet as always and it doesn't seem that anything horrible is going to happen at all in the slightest bit. It's just your normal, ordinary Friday, so feel free to go about it as you wish, whether you sleep in or otherwise.

Guess who is now screaming at the top of her lungs]

Taiki will immediately rush over once he hears all the screaming.] Zack, Eruna, what ha-

[Taiki freezes the moment he sees Dia thou- no, sees Dia's body there in the bathroom.]

Wha... How could this...

[He doesn't scream, but his heart pounds in his ears. How could anyone do this?]

[Zack is staring at the corpse, eyes wide with shock. Is there anything he might notice about the body right off the bat? Other than the fact she's probably missing a leg?]

What's....

[Oh.]

Oh.

[She promptly joins Eruna in screaming at the top of her lungs.]

[Hey Recette, do you mind if Eruna kind of clings to you here because this sure is a thing that's happening now.]

[Not at all. You are getting clung on right back.]

[Once Eruna has run out of the lung capacity needed for screaming, she tugs on Recette's arm a little here.]

M--maybe we should back out of the way for now?

[Or rather, as much as she would like to tear off and hunt down whoever it was that killed Dia, there's still Recette here and she doesn't deserve being left with... this.]

Y-yeah. Yeah.

[Just... gonna try and take deep breaths.]

Maybe upstairs or another room?

Yeah, let's... let's go sit in another room instead.

[And thus, Eruna is gonna take Recette's hand here and leave this room to the others to continue investigating.

As we're approaching Rooms 28-30, is there anything that might stick out to them here, or are they good to use one of these rooms to hang out in.]

[ There definitely is! Rooms 28 and 29 are open for your perusual, but Room 30 seems to be locked somehow. Would you like to take a look? ]

[Taiki hasn't said a word, has been quiet this whole time. But eventually, he'll speak with his head lowered, hair obscuring his eyes.]

...Eruna. Stay with Recette. I'm going to stay here a little longer, but I'll catch up to you both... after.

[After he forces himself to look at the body...]

... Yeah, of course.

[Don't worry buddy, we'll make sure Recette is okay.]

[She really appreciates you doing this. She... doesn't wanna investigate the body.]

[ She's not missing a leg (fortunately??) but she seems to be holding onto her magical phone tightly and seems to be bleeding a little on the head.

Also, he'll definitely notice that her body is facing the mirror. ]

[ Hey, this is a job for The Bone (tm)

Miach is going to shove past screaming people, looking entirely apathetic to the presence of death. Since she still has the bone, she'll hold the bloody side against Dia's head to see if the size of blood marks might match. ]

[ It's a perfect match!

And because the mod forgot Dia is also untransformed and seems to have a white sash around her waist that resembles her transformed state. The sash seems to look like the sheets used in the apartments, as well. ]

[Szayel's the next one on the scene, having seen the ominous message on the network. All the screaming is helpful in getting him to the right place.

While he remains plainly calm for the most part, he's frowning slightly. He didn't expect Dia to be the first one to fall, considering she seemed to be one of the more methodical members of the group.

He'll slide past the onlookers and join Miach at the body.]

So. What's happened, here? How late am I?

[ Miach waves the bone in Szayel's general direction to display it. ]

Murder by blunt force trauma, I would assume. This bone probably stems from one of the skeletons and it had tried blood on it when we found it - matches her head injury from all I can tell on first sight.

[He raises an eyebrow.]

They used a bone as a club? Well that's rather barbaric.

[Like, of all the potential murder weapons out there...]

Is that it so far? We should thoroughly examine her if Fav truly intends for us to go through this ridiculous trial.

[Zack's a bit shell shocked thanks to that wonderful announcement Fav made, but his eyes slowly trail from her body to the mirror.]

[The fact that someone died and Taiki was unable to do anything to stop it... The weight of it threatens to drag him to the ground. He wasn't able to protect everyone...

But Taiki will eventually pull himself together enough to move closer to the now dead girl. It isn't fair to her if he does nothing now. Will he notice anything else besides what's been stated once he's standing beside Dia's body?]

[ The room itself is rather clean outside of the body. If you're looking on her body, however, her arms seem to have dry blood on them, along with the injury to the head. ]

[The cleanliness may not be immediately apparent to Taiki, but he'll kneel down when he sees the dried blood.]

...I'm sorry, Dia.

[It's a whisper said under his breath, only for him and the dead body to hear unless someone happens to be listening closely.

Is the blood on her head dry as well, or is there a noticeable difference between them?]
