20 REMAIN...?

It's been a rather rough couple of days. Of course it has, given the fact that Fav made the announcement that he'd be cutting the number down to four, and the fact that killing someone would actually make people get candy a lot faster than normal. But nobody is irrational enough to take Fav up on his rather generous offer, right? After all, it's murder!

Nevertheless, the town seems rather quiet as always and it doesn't seem that anything horrible is going to happen at all in the slightest bit. It's just your normal, ordinary Friday, so feel free to go about it as you wish, whether you sleep in or otherwise.

Don't worry Recette-chan, we're gonna get to the bottom of this! All of us, together!

R-right! We just gotta check everything out and maybe it'll be really innocent some how! Investigation ho!

[Eruna copies Recette here, fist pumping the air as she then turns her attention to the stairs leading up. Is everyone ready to go up and see what we can find?]

[ Ho, indeed? Miach is going to follow along for sure. ]

[Wait for Zack!]

[ Let's continue our trek upstairs upstairs, shall we? ]

[Yes! Is there anything noticeably amiss once they reach the top of the stairs?]

[ There doesn't seem to be anything immediately amiss on the first flight of stairs on their way up to the first floor. ]

[Upstairs this crack team of cute girls-and Zack who now qualifies- goes then! Investigation ho! Anything obviously screaming investigate me! or MURDER!?]

[ Not on their way to the first set of rooms, no. ]

[ Miach is going to test a few apartment doors along the way. Any that would swing open and reveal anything interesting inside? ]

[ There doesn't seem to be anything interesting on the first or second floors if you look through all of them.

Maybe try the third floor? ]

[ That's the next logical step! Miach doesn't necessarily pay attention to whether or not anyone is coming along, she's gonna hop up the next stairs now. ]

[Zack's following, pretty sure there's nothing on the second floor to poke at.]

[ There's nothing on last flight of stairs, but you might want to check the rooms... which room do you want to check first? ]

[Closest one to the stairs?]

[He's gonna leave the door open so he knows which one's he's already checked.]

[Whether or not the rest of the group is close to Miach, Taiki will be following along, near the back and closest to Eruna since she called him upstairs. There shouldn't be anything amiss for him to see back there, right?]

[Taiki may or may not catch them before they go up, but he rushes into the apartment as quickly as he can.] Recette? Is anyone here? [His voice is pitched to carry, but he has the presence of mind to know that raising his voice may not be a good idea.]

[Eruna's gonna wave to get your attention over by the stairs!]

Eruna! [He shoots her a smile of relief. She looks okay, and from those messages, he trusts she won't let anything happen to Recette either.] I'm heading up there!

Taiki!

[Recette is honestly relieved to be surrounded by so many people now. It's less scary now.]

Zack and Miach are here now too! We haven't found anything yet!

I'm glad you're okay. [At least under the circumstances.] And it's okay. We'll keep looking until we find something.

[The cheer he puts into his voice is a little forced, but it might be difficult to tell. Whatever's waiting for them... It can't spell out anything good.]

Right, it'll hopefully being something super innocent... I'm sure we'll find something that'll explain all of this.

[Find.. oh right! Recette remembers her promise to help him find his goggles and because it's a far more lighthearted subject grabs that topic change.]

Hey Taiki, have you checked the item shop thing on the phone? Lady Edna said one of her things was being sold- she bought it back don't worry- and one of the items is a pair of Goggles.

[She'd have bought it for you, but well, she's at the bottom already, so...]

Do you think they're yours?

[He nods, tries to stay reassuring.] Yeah, definitely.

[But that catches his attention fast.]

Ah- My goggles might be there?! [He regrets not checking the shop now. He'd been avoiding it after finding out how dangerous it was to use up their candy. He swears at Fav under his breath, low so that Recette won't hear. Is it because of him and that mastermind that they ended up in there...?] I don't know if I'll be able to get them back at this rate, but... Thank you for telling me. [His smile is a little sad at that and what follows.] Even with all this stuff going on, you remembered that from the first day, huh?
